Abstract:
Transportpalette (10), insbesondere Europalette nach EN 13698, umfassend mehrere Bretter (12) und Klötze (14), welche einen Kern (16) aufweisen und der jeweilige Kern (16) von einer Ummantelung (18) umgeben ist.
Abstract:
A lead board (4, 4a) or plank or dunnage strip for a apallet comprises a core of wood (8) and a covering of impact resistant plastics material (10) such as linear low density polyethylene moulded around the core to a thickness of between about 5 to 10 milimiters. The wooden core can have a series of uniformly spaced holes (12) so that plastics will flow through the holes to ensure the plastics covering is firmly fixed to the core. The plastics material covering (10) is wear resistant, is capable of absorbing impact damage from the tines of a fork lift without splitting and retains the moisture content of the wood and thereby prevents warping of the wood when unseasoned wood dries; while the core (8) provides the required rigidity and load-bearing characteristics to the lead board or plank (4, 4a).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method of producing a pallet that comprises an upper, load-supporting part (11), a lower part (13) spaced from said upper part (12) with the aid of spacers (15). The invention is characterised by gluing to a first, elongated sheet-like core (13) of predetermined thickness a surface covering of liquid-proof sheet material (12) so as to form a load-supporting upper part (11), and gluing to the mutually opposing side surfaces of a second, elongated sheet-like core (14) of predetermined thickness a liquid-proof covering sheet (12), such as to form a bottom part (14). The bottom part consisting of said core and said liquid-proof covering material is worked to form spacing blocks (15) of predetermined height. The top and bottom pallet-parts (11, 12) can be packed together while using the material obtained from the cutting process and from which spacing blocks are formed, and said spacing blocks are fitted so as to provide a finished pallet (10).
Abstract:
A pallet used for stowing and transporting items for shipping. The pallet design of the present invention includes a top deck, a bottom skid, and several posts for providing support between the top deck and bottom skid. The posts are integrated with either the top deck or bottom skid. Within each pallet post is a steel tube reinforcement that is overmolded directly into the bottom skid, or is assembled after the pallet post is molded. The supports, which are typically hollow posts, are molded onto either the top deck or bottom skid, and a thermoplastic weld or adhesive joint is applied to the posts to complete the assembly. The palled having the integrated posts and reinforcements provides an economical approach of reinforcing pallet posts to absorb tow fork impact.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a pallet kit (10), in particular made of a renewable material and delivered in a flat condition, characterised in that it comprises at least two skis (12) having a U profile including three members (6), i.e. two sides (16-1 and 16-2) and a bottom (16-3), as well as a bearing platform (14), said bearing platform comprising battens (22) and a film (24) for connecting the battens.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A composite pallet is made of concrete fill material that is enclosed in a frame structure. The frame structure includes a first frame member and a second frame member. The first frame member has a first frame member cavity that contains the concrete fill material. The first frame member has a tenon, and the second frame member has a mortice in which the tenon of the first frame member is received. The tenon of the first frame member defines a fill gap through which the fill material is able to flow during manufacturing. The frame structure is made of sheet metal that has seams located inside the frame structure.
Abstract:
The intention provides a method of coating wooden pallets having a low moisture content with an elastomer coating, so as to provide pallets combining the advantageous qualities of wooden and plastic pallets. The pallets are light and inexpensive, tough and durable, water and damage resistant, fire retardant and non-slip. They can be produced by treating existing wooden pallets. The pallets may also have an RFID attached before coating for tracking the pallets and goods transported thereon.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a leader board unit for use with a four-way entry pallet, the pallet being of a type which includes a plurality of parallel transverse top boards supported by a plurality of upper support planks, the leader board unit including: a top leader board parallel to and of substantially the same length as the transverse top boards; a bottom leader board parallel to, spaced apart from, and of substantially the same length as the top leader board; a plurality of support members formed integrally with and perpendicular to the top and bottom leader boards and holding the two leader boards in their spaced-apart configuration, each support member including a protrusion for mounting a respective upper support plank, the leader boards and support members being structurally integral and formed of a plastics material.
Abstract:
A composite structural material suitable, for example, as a replacement for wooden boards, sheets, or posts, is disclosed. It comprises a dimensionally stable core material substantially surrounded by a dimensionally stable, laminar covering that is adherent to the core material. The laminar covering is comprised of at least one band of substantially parallel reinforcing cords bonded to at least one layer of a dimensionally stable web material selected from the group consisting of rigidified paper and rigidified cloth. Preferably the band of reinforcing cords is sandwiched between two layers of rigidified paper or cloth. The core material can be, for example, a foamed synthetic resin with or without filler. A continuous process for manufacturing the material is disclosed.
