Abstract: A container and method of opening a container are provided. The container includes a dispensing cartridge defining a storage cavity with an access opening. A blocking member is transitionable from a blocked state to an unblocked state relative to the access opening. The blocking member covers a greater portion of the access opening in the blocked state than in the unblocked state. The outer shell includes a piercing mechanism configured to transition the blocking member from the blocked state to the unblocked state. The method includes using the piercing mechanism to transition the blocking member from the blocked state to the unblocked state. The dispensing cartridge is transitionable by squeezing sides of an outer shell housing the dispensing cartridge.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a portable pill storage container. The portable pill storage container according to the present invention comprises: an inner container wherein the contents of a pill or a pellet are contained inside and a pill discharge hold is formed at the upper portion of an outer circumference surface; an outer container accommodating the inner container, wherein a moving means is provided at the inner lower end to support the lower end of the inner container and to move the inner container up and down by elasticity, and a first screw thread is formed in an upper outer portion; and a cap encompassing the upper portion of the inner container to be coupled in one body, wherein a second screw thread corresponding to the first screw thread is formed in an inner circumference surface for coupling with the outer container by screw. The portable pill storage container according to the present invention is designed in such a way that the cap and the inner container are integrated, and a certain part of the inner container is drawn to the outside of the outer container through the moving means for enabling discharge of a pill when the cap is opened, thereby preventing the loss of the cap.
