Abstract:
The object of the invention is an escapement gear wheel, wherein the shape of the teeth (21, 21', 22, 22') is chosen such that the straight line between the tip of a tooth (21, 21', 22, 22') and the centre of the escapement wheel (2) is fully enclosed within the escapement wheel (2). Further the object of the invention is an element rotation control mechanism, comprising an escapement gear wheel fixed at the element's axis of rotation and an anchor pivotably mounted at a distance less than half of the span of its arms from the escapement gear wheel (2). The anchor can come into contact with the escapement gear wheel with the first (11) or the second (12) arm. The span of the anchor's arms (1), the radius of the escapement wheel (2) and sized and the number of the teeth (21, 21', 22, 22') are chosen so that in the position of the escapement wheel (2), where one of the arms of the anchor (1) has a point of contact with the escapement wheel (2) located exactly at the bottom of the inter-tooth notch, the point of contact of the second arm of the anchor is located at the rear edge of a tooth (211, 211', 221, 221'). The object of the invention is also an element rotation control method, wherein the mechanism according to the invention is mounted to the element in the element's axis of rotation.
Abstract:
An apparatus for actuating a lift plate of a media tray is disclosed herein. An example of the apparatus includes a rocker assembly adjacent the lift plate and a slide assembly coupled to the rocker assembly to actuate the rocker assembly subsequent to insertion of the media tray in a printing device, thereby raising the lift plate. The apparatus additionally includes a lock assembly to secure the slide assembly and a latch assembly coupled to the lock assembly to release the lock assembly upon initiation of opening of the media tray, thereby allowing the lift plate to lower prior to such removal. A media tray and method for actuating a lift plate of a media tray are also disclosed herein.
Abstract:
A group (G) for braking paper (10) being unwound from a reel (3) positioned on a supporting and rotation pin (2) of the reel (3), wherein a free end of the paper which is being unwound from the reel (3) is subjected to a pulling action and the reel (3) is made integral with the pin (2) which is free to rotate with respect to a supporting frame, a rotation blocking device (5) of the pin (2) carrying the reel (3) also being envisaged, wherein at least a pair of metallic washers (4, 7) and at least a pair of washers made of a wearing material (6, 11) are inserted on the pin (2), alternatingly facing each other (4, 6, 7, 11) to form a clutch group together with a load spring (13) which grips them in packs by means of adjustable clamping means (14, 15), it also being envisaged that at least one metallic washer (4) is positioned integrally with the pin (2), and forms part of the rotation blocking device (5) of the pin, and at least another metallic washer (7) comprises a radial extension towards the outside (8) which, upon rotation, is buffered against a stop (9) integral with the supporting frame creating means for opposing the rotation of the clutch group
Abstract:
A delivery device (5), comprising a start pusher (21) for prompting the delivery of pressure−sensitive tape, a delivery gear (23) rotated at a specified pitch according to the movement of the start pusher (21), a winding gear (25) rotated interlockingly with the rotation of the delivery gear (23), and a reverse rotation prevention mechanism for preventing the delivery gear (23) from rotating in reverse direction.
