Abstract:
A drinking bottle (100) having at east one liquid reservoir (120, 140), at least one replaceable substrate ampoule (200) and means for breaking a liquid proof seal (206) between the substrate ampoule (200) and the liquid reservoir. The substrate ampoule (200) comprises a drinking tube (210) with a distal drinking nipple (211), where the drinking tube (210) is disposed axially displaceable in relation to the ampoule (200) between an inner position where liquid cannot flow from the liquid reservoir (120, 140) to the interior of the drinking tube (210), and an outer position where liquid can flow from the liquid reservoir (120, 140) to the interior of the drinking tube (210). The drinking bottle (100) makes t possible to bring along several substrate ampoules (200) with various contents that can be mixed with liquid from the liquid reservoir (120, 140). The bottle can also provide doses of liquid. As the drinking tube (210) is part of the ampoule (200), problems with cleaning a drinking tube with a drinking valve are avoided. Applications include drinks for sports, administration and dosage of medication etc.
Abstract:
A shot glass with a handle for attachment to a larger drinking glass, such as a beer mug. In at least one embodiment, a shot glass uniquely suited for use in making specialty and regular drinks and for storage in and outside a drinking glass. In at least one other embodiment, a shot glass which includes a novelty lighting mechanism.
Abstract:
A beverage container in the form of a "schooner" or other beer glass but may typically be any of the standard size beer glasses. The beer glass has a divider (11) centrally located within the glass and separating the glass into two chambers (12) and (13). The chambers effectively converge to a position whereby a drinkers mouth is positioned near the divider so that the separately held beers mix while being drunk. The divider (11) has an upper edge at (14) just below the rim (15) of the glass (10). In the illustrated embodiment the distance from the rim (15) to the upper edge (14) of the divider is approximately 9mm. However, the distance will depend on the nature of the beverage and its frothability since the position of the divider has two factors, firstly, to enable a continuous head of froth across the top of the glass and, secondly, to permit the drinker to drink beverage from a mouth position adjacent to the divider and not have the divider interfere with the drinking process.
Abstract:
A system for dispensing a flowable food product from a reservoir is provided. The system includes a fitment coupled to the reservoir and a piercing tool having a handle, a neck, and a piercing section, wherein the neck interconnects the handle with the piercing section. The piercing section is configured to create an opening in the reservoir through the fitment to enable dispensing of the flowable product.
Abstract:
Device for dispensing a plurality of unitary doses (2) of dry powder, comprising at least one support comprising conduits each defining a flow path for an airstream carrying one of the unitary dose (2), the support having first (26) and second (27) members secured to one another so that a first conduit portion (29) of the first member faces a second conduit portions (43) of the second member to define one of the conduits, and a first separation portion (30) of the first member faces a second separation portions (45) of the second member, the support comprising a plurality of barrier-forming elements (31, 46) each arranged between corresponding first (30) and second (45) separation portions to prevent dry powder from passing from one of the conduits to one of the adjacent conduits.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A beverage holding device comprising a container and a removably engageable lid. The container includes a partition extending between opposing sides of the sidewall of the container to define a plurality of separated cavities. The partition includes an edge surface forming an interior seal against a lower surface of the lid upon an engagement of the lid with the container for maintaining the plurality of cavities fluidly separated. A plurality of apertures in offset elevated positions above an upper surface of the lid are provided, with each communicating with a respective one of the plurality of cavities. The elevated and offset apertures provide a respective relief area to accommodate a projecting nose of a user during an engagement of the user's mouth with a respective aperture while tipping the container.
Abstract:
The invention includes embodiments of a device having two or three receptacles for holding liquids for drinking by a user. The receptacles are fixated in relation to each other such that a user can drink all, or substantially all, of the liquid in one of the receptacles without spilling liquid in the other receptacle or receptacles, which can be filled to a specific level. The receptacles are fixated in relation to each other based on formulae that include variables including receptacle angles, spill angles, fill-lines and/or lip angles. The receptacles may be attached to the rest of the device by stems, their outer portions or the may be embedded in a block. The receptacles may include reservoirs into which the liquid may flow.
Abstract:
The invention provides a drink mixing cup for fluids comprising an outer chamber having an outer rim disposed at its top and a chamber disposed inside the outer chamber having an inner rim disposed below the outer rim by an amount selected to optimize mixing fluids poured from said chambers when drunk by humans. The design allows for nesting of cups and thermal insulation of the inner chamber. An advantageous method of delivering mixed drinks to patrons can be obtained using one or more cups having an outer chamber and an inner chamber and having a space below the inner chamber disposed inside said outer 10 chamber and a tray having mandrels having a shape corresponding to the space below the inner chamber, whereby the cups can be mounted on the mandrels and prevented from sliding off the tray when tipped.
Abstract:
A drinking vessel (62) adapted to hold a plurality of fluids having a base (82) and a curved rear wall (72), a plurality of containers (64, 66, 68, 70) stacked in a staggered configuration and each container attached to the sides of the rear wall to define a gap (74) between the rear wall and each of the containers, there also being a gap between the front of each container and the one immediately below it to enable the pouring of fluid into the lower container, while the gap between the containers and the rear wall allows for the pouring of the fluid from the containers along the rear wall when the vessel is tilted to the rear.
