Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for manufacturing a shaped paperboard product. According to the invention, a paperboard blank is shaped by means of a shaping tool (2) comprising a female tool element (3) and a male tool element (4), of which tool elements one is moved relative to the other tool element, and a frame tool element (5) arranged in connection with the male tool element, and the brim of the paperboard product being formed is evened by means of the frame tool element in connection with shaping. The invention also relates to the use of the apparatus.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a packaging unit (2) made of moulded pulp for products like eggs (P) and a method for manufacturing such packaging unit. The packaging unit according to the present invention comprises: - a carrier part (10) having a length, a width and a depth; and - one or more product compartments (48) that are provided in the carrier and are configured for receiving a product, wherein the moulded pulp comprises a foamed moulded fiber material, comprising a fiber material and a foaming agent, and having a solid content of the fiber material in the packaging unit abot 35% by weight.
Abstract:
A method for the manufacturing of containers made of vegetable fiber comprises the operating steps of dipping the pulp of vegetable fiber in a bath with a first predetermined quantity of additives and to place the compound thus obtained within a thermoforming mold to form at least one first layer of such a vegetable compound with additives; dipping the vegetable fiber pulp in a bath with a second predetermined quantity of additives and placing the compound thus obtained into said thermoforming mold superimposed to said first layer to form at least one second layer of vegetable compound with additives; and making the drying of the first and second layer superimposed one to another so as to make a multi-layer thermoformed container having a specific geometric shape molded by said thermoforming mold.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of forming a moulded fibrous product, comprising the steps of foaming (1) an aqueous suspension of natural fibres, optionally in combination with synthetic fibres, to provide a first fibrous foam, a surfactant may be added to aid the foaming, feeding the fibrous foam into a mould, mechanically withdrawing a part of the water (2) contained in the foam to produce a solidified, moist fibrous composition, and evaporating water (3) from the solidified, moist fibrous composition to produce a dry fibrous product.
Abstract:
Disclosed are embodiments of an automatic multi-station integrated equipment for forming waste-paper-based-pulp packaging products, and related methods of operation. The equipment comprises at least one suction filter forming station integrated with one or more pair of high-temperature drying stations. The suction filter forming station includes a forming frame, pulp tank, forming plate apparatus, transfer plate apparatus, transfer air storage tank, horizontal transfer air cylinder, vertical transfer air cylinder, forming hydraulic cylinder, and forming apparatus main shaft. Each high-temperature drying station may include an upper press plate apparatus, lower press plate apparatus, high pressure air cylinder, lower horizontal air cylinder, air storage tank and upper horizontal air cylinder. Embodiments of the invention generally use one suction filtration forming station in conjunction with multiple high temperature drying stations to form a single production line.
Abstract:
The method comprises the steps of: mixing and agglomerating scraps of corrugated cardboard of a predetermined maximum size with a bonding agent until an isotropic agglomerate is formed, and controlling the degree of humidity of said isotropic agglomerate in order not to destroy the mechanical resistance of the paper that the corrugated cardboard is made of; compacting said agglomerate until compacted blocks or profiles are formed by applying a controlled compacting pressure so as not to crush flutes in the internal structure of the corrugated cardboard; and drying said compacted blocks or profiles by applying heat until lightweight blocks or profiles are obtained. The facility comprises: at least one mixer (80) with means for controlling the degree of humidity in the isotropic agglomerate, at least one compactor (90, 91 ) with control of the compacting pressure; and at least one drying oven (100) for producing the lightweight blocks or profiles.
Abstract:
Method and apparatus for moulding an article from pulp material, in which the article is moulding the article on the surface a mould tool, the article is pressed and the pressed article is dried, using heated gas or superheated steam that is passed through the pressed article or using microwaves, in which the pressed article is retained on a tool during the drying. The tool may be the mould tool or a different tool.
