Abstract:
Control of a vehicle (106) to perform a task employs first control input (122) provided by a, human operator (126) and second control input (124) provided by an automated controller (128). A relationship between the first control input (122) and the second control input (124) is determined. Either the first control input (122) or the second control input (124) is used to control the vehicle (106) to perform the task based on the determined relationship. An indicator (150) may be used to indicate to the operator (126) when the control input (122) provided by the human operator (126) is being used to control the vehicle (106).
Abstract:
The invention relates to an improved snow grooming vehicle featuring a multifunction joystick (10) adapted to selectively control a plurality of independent functions of various work implements installed on the snow grooming vehicle (60). More specifically, the multifunction joystick (10) is adapted to select specific functions of work implements and apply the movements of the joystick to these specific functions. If a new function is selected, the movements of the joystick are applied to the newly selected function while disabling the previously selected function. From a single joystick (10), the operator may control a wide array of functions of the work implements installed on the snow grooming vehicle (60).
Abstract:
Construction machinery provided with a control part which receives operating signals from operating devices and output operating commands to actuators, wherein its relation of linkage with operating levers and switches is formed, using a monitor (30) and operating levers (10 and 11), so that the relation of input/output between any operating levers and electro-hydraulic converter valves (17 to 24) can be set freely, and the set relation of input/output can be stored reloadably in memory.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a road-legal construction machine (1), which comprises a carriage (3) supported by wheels provided with tyres (2), and a cabin (4) provided with a steering wheel and having its inside laterally extending over the top surface of the tyres (2). The cabin (4) has a first cross-sectional area (A) in the horizontal direction at a first distance from the bottom (6) of the cabin (4) between the wheels, and a second cross-sectional area (B) in the horizontal direction at a second distance from the bottom at the same level as or above the top surface (2a) of the tyre (2). The bottom (6) of the cabin (4) has a mounting (5, 18) allowing the rotation of the cabin (4) and for mounting to the carriage (3), and the first cross-sectional area (A) of the cabin (4) is smaller than the second cross-sectional area (B). The invention also relates to a cabin provided with a steering wheel.
