Abstract:
A plumbing system, for draining waste material from each of a first draining device and a second draining device into a discharge pipe, includes a first trap in communication with open air and adapted to receive the waste material draining from the first draining device. The plumbing system further includes a fluid conduit providing fluid communication between the second draining device and the discharge pipe and adapted to drain waste material from the second draining device into the discharge pipe. The fluid conduit has a dimension smaller than a dimension of the discharge pipe. The waste material draining into the first trap drains from the first trap into the discharge pipe.
Abstract:
The present invention is a method and means at diversion of outlet air from vacuum cleaners and the like. The air is transferred to a water outlet pipe where connection is between two water traps (4, 5). The working water head has a greater height (H) in that water trap (4) which in the direction of the flow is arranged before the connection of the supply of air than the height (h) in that water trap which is arranged after the supply of air and through which the air flows.
Abstract:
A tailpiece has been provided that includes a tubular member, a washing machine connector, and a dryer drainage connector. The washing machine connector can receive a fluid discharge from a washing machine drain line and the dryer drainage connector can receive a fluid discharge from a dryer drain line. In some configurations, the tailpiece include ports. The ports have a plug positioned within them when they are not being utilized and a connector positioned within them when they are being utilized. Additionally, a method of installing a tailpiece beneath a sink has been provided.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A plumbing trap system (110) is provided with a pair of sanitary traps arranged in series between a first draining device (114) and the waste line. The first draining device (114) drains into the first, upstream sanitary trap (118) and then into the second, downstream sanitary trap (132). Noise which is caused by the draining of the second draining device (132) and which emanates from the first draining device (114) is hereby reduced.
Abstract:
Sanitary unit, especially for household use, having a water tap (12) connected to a water supply means, a basin (10) or tray preferably resting with one side on a wall (22) and being fitted with an outlet opening (20) directing the water drawn from the supply means into a recipient, especially a sewer. According to the invention the outlet opening (20) is formed at the lower part of a back-wall (24) of the basin (10) or tray, and under the basin (10) or tray a space for accomodating of a water-using household machine, especially washing machine or dishwashing machine (32), is formed.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an odor preventing multi-connector for a drain pipe of a kitchen sink, comprising a tubular body (10), a plurality of first drain holes (20), a second drain hole (20'), a connecting board (30), a nut (40), an air pin connecting board (50), a detachable nut (70) inserted into the lower portion of the main body (10), a detachable bolt (60) threaded into the detachable nut (70), a drain pipe connecting detachable nut (70') threaded onto the lower portion of the detachable bolt (60), a rubber packing (80) and a polypropylene packing (80') inserted between the first and second drain holes (20, 20') and the nut (40), between the detachable nut (70) and the detachable bolt (60), and between the detachable bolt (60) and the detachable nut (70'), and a lid plate (90) for blocking the first and second drain holes (20, 20') when not in use. The multi-connector of the present invention completely seals the connecting part between a drain hose and the drain pipe to prevent an offensive odor or the leakage of waste water at the connecting part. The multi-connector of the present invention improves the convenience of use by using a plurality of drain hoses of a kitchen sink, a laundry washer, a dishwasher, and a water purifier or the like, connected to a single drain pipe. The multi-connector of the present invention enables the drain hose and the drain pipe to be connected or separated from each other easily to reduce time and costs for installation or separation for maintenance. The multi-connector of the present invention is simple in configuration, thus reducing manufacturing costs and being economically advantageous.
Abstract:
An odour trap for a fluid having a tubular main body with an inlet portion and outlet portion disposed at opposing ends of said main body. There is an internal chamber supported within the main body with said internal chamber having a closed end and a free end. This said free end having an upper edge in communication with the inlet portion such that fluid entering the trap is received into the internal chamber, and a cavity defined by an internal wall of the main tubular body and the external wall of the internal chamber; whereby fluid passing through the inlet portion is received into the internal chamber and on subsequent overflow of the fluid within said internal chamber, said fluid flows into the cavity and discharged through the outlet portion.
