Abstract:
A secure storage device that contains multiple compartments under a table top. The table top may move laterally to allow authorized users to access storage areas. A drawer in the device may also be accessed by an authorized user. The movement of the table top and drawer is directed by a central computer in communication with a biometric sensor located on the device. The central computer may be programmed to allow different types of access to the device based upon fingerprints or other biometric information from a user.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a quick connection and/or fastening system suited to mutually connect and disconnect a first and a second element, said system comprising a first and a second component that are suited to be rigidly fixed to said first and said second element, respectively, said first component and said second component being also suited to be mutually connected and disconnected in such a way as to alternatively allow said first and said second element to be mutually connected and disconnected, said second component being suited to house an end portion of said first component in such a way as to allow its translation inside said second component, said second component comprising also counteracting means suited to counteract the translation of said end portion of said first component towards the outside of said second component.
Abstract:
A cartridge for use in a dispensing system is disclosed. The cartridge includes a body having an exterior and a plurality of bins. A plurality of lids are movably attached to the body and are configured to cover a bin. A release mechanism is movable along an axis. A plurality of latches are movably attached to the body. Each latch is configured to secure the respective lid when in a first position and to release the respective lid when in a second position. The release mechanism will not cause a latch to move to the second position when the release mechanism is moving along the axis in a first direction. The release mechanism will cause a single latch to move to the second position while leaving the remaining latches in the first position when the release mechanism is moving along the axis in a second direction.
Abstract:
A drawer that includes a container and an activation member is disclosed. The container includes a receptacle and a lid. The lid moves between an open position allowing access to the receptacle and a closed position restricting access to the receptacle. The container further includes a fastener, coupled to the lid, to fasten the lid to the receptacle when the lid is in the closed position. The activation member moves radially around a longest axis of the activation member, and includes an actuator. When the activation member is rotated in a first direction, the actuator is placed into a first orientation relative to the fastener. When the activation member is rotated in a second direction opposite the first direction, the actuator is placed into a second orientation relative to the fastener such that the actuator actuates the fastener to cause the lid to move into the open position.
Abstract:
A safety closure device (100) for drawers or doors is disclosed, which comprises a lock device (7) designed to be fixed to a border (6) of a drawer or door for locking in closed position and an actuation mechanism (M) designed to be connected to a handle (1) and to the lock device (7), in order to unlock the lock device (7) by means of the handle (1). The actuation mechanism (M) comprises a body (2, 4) designed to be fixed in a hole (60) or the door (6) of the drawer, and a joint (3) mounted in the body (2, 4) in an articulated way. The joint (3) comprises a pin (30) to unlock the lock device (7) and a connection (31) fixed to the handle (1).
Abstract:
A latch including a housing, a rotary pawl, catch means for releasably holding the pawl in a closed configuration, and means for operating the catch means are disclosed.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A drawer storage container having a plurality of lockable drawers includes a movable lock bar with a drawer catch associated with each of the lockable drawers. The lock bar is moved between an unlocked position and a locked position with an actuator that is coupled to a locking mechanism, such as for example, a key cylinder. Each drawer includes a striker mechanism that is configured to be held by the drawer catch when the lock bar is in the locked position. The actuator includes a release that allows the lock bar to be moved by the striker from the locked to the unlocked position when the striker impacts a camming surface on the catch.
Abstract:
A latching mechanism is particularly suited for use in latching a slide mechanism, such as used to slidably mount a drawer. The latching mechanism includes a latch assembly comprising a latch lever mounted for movement between a first, second and third positions, a latch tab for selective engagement with a second end of the latch lever, and a piezo electric controller. The controller has a plunger configured to selectively control the movement of the latch lever between the first and second positions, the plunger movable between an extended position corresponding to a first, locked position of the latch lever and a retracted position corresponding to the second, unlocked position of the latch lever, the controller when unpowered preventing the plunger from moving from the extended to the retracted position and the controller when powered permitting the plunger to move from the extended to the retracted position.
