Abstract:
Locking system for sliding-pivoting doors/panels (18 and 19) composed of: a guiding mechanism of the panels (18 and 19) placed in the sliding top track (21) and composed of a cap (8), an array of slots (9) and a guiding inverted "T" which complements the array of slots (9) which can be replaced by a protusion (25) of the top pivot part (24). A locking and unlocking mechanism of the panels (18 and 19) composed of a "U" shape profile (1) fixed to the wall, "U" shape moving profile (4) a pair of elbow shape parts (2), a handle (3), two blocks (5) and two plates (6) being the width of the base (23) of the profile (1) slightly bigger than the base (22) of the moving profile (4) and fitting the "U" moving profile (4) into the profile (1).
Abstract:
A device (11) for openable locking of an openable element (10), comprising a latch housing (16) having a latch (17) being adjustable between a protruding position and a retracted position, and a movably arranged arm (18) cooperating with the latch (17), wherein the arm (18) is arranged for connection with a control device (12) for controlling the latch (17) through the arm (18). The arm (18) is arranged with a blocking surface (37) for engaging a portion (42) of the latch (17) in the protruding position of the latch and thereby forming a blocking function for preventing the latch (17) from being displaced into the latch housing (16) due to a force applied on an outer side (31) of the latch (17) outside the latch housing (16). The device (11) comprises a movably arranged unblocking element (19) having a strike surface (41) for cooperation with an element (13) outside the latch housing (16), and a portion (40) for cooperation with the arm (18), wherein the unblocking element (19) is arranged for unblocking the blocking function when a force is applied on the strike surface (41) of the unblocking element (19).
Abstract:
Abstract:
A two point lock includes two pivotally mounted security hooks having sliding faces that engage sliding faces of a spring-loaded mishandling pin when the mishandling pin is vertically extended and the security hooks are rotatably retracted. The mishandling pin is vertically retracted when it abuts a jamb. When the mishandling pin is vertically retracted, the sliding faces disengage so that the security hooks can rotate to lock onto a striker on the jamb. Thus, the mishandling pin prevents the security hooks from being slammed into the striker before a door or a window is fully closed.
Abstract:
In accordance with the embodiments described herein, a surgical tray latch for a surgical tray is disclosed, for use in medical environments, such as surgery operating rooms. The surgical tray latch includes an actuator connected to two or more linkages, the linkages being connected to tray release clasps, which engage and disengage the lid of the surgical tray to and from an associated container. A single-handed operation of the actuator causes at least two tray release clasps to be simultaneously engaged or disengaged.
Abstract:
This invention relates to enclosures, externally hinged and with positive internal locking mechanism/arrangement to ensure uniform sealing all around, between body and cover to provide high degree of ingress protection.
Abstract:
A locking mechanism is provided for use with at least one access door (10) of a building, the mechanism comprising at least one operating handle (12) and at least one electrical operating device (14), the locking mechanism having a first internal device (12) manually operable to activate electrical means of the locking device, and the second internal device (19) manually operable to override the electrical means of the locking device to open the door, the locking device including at least one security locking mechanism (80) operable by the first to internal device (12), release of the security locking mechanism (80) not being possible by operation of the second internal device (19). The invention provides added security under certain conditions, for example when a householder is away on holiday.
Abstract:
There is disclosed a bolting mechanism, for example to secure a door. The mechanism includes one or more rotatably mounted swing bolts. Each swing bolt has a face oblique to the plane of rotation such that, during rotation towards an engaged position, the oblique face tightens against an opposing surface of the doorframe. The oblique face may be provided by a taper of the end of each swing bolt the taper being in a direction radially away from, tangential to, or both radially away from and tangential to the axis of rotation of each swing bolt.
Abstract:
A security shootbolt (1) for multipoint locks, comprising an external box-like body (2) and two hook-shaped latches (3, 4) that can rotate about a respective pin (5, 6) for fixing to the box-like body (2); the latches (3, 4) are functionally associated with an actuation slide (7) which in turn is integral with an actuation rod (8) of a main lock; the pivoting pin (5) of a first latch (3) is arranged proximate to the external face (9) of the box-like body (2) and to the region ( 10) of entry of the actuation rod (8) of the main lock; the pin (6) of the second latch (4) is arranged proximate to the external face (9) of the box-like body (2) and to the portion (1 1 ) opposite the region (10) of entry of the rod (8); the slide (7) comprises a first end (12) for coupling to the actuation rod (8), an abutment tooth (15) for a shoulder (16) of the first latch (3), a straight section (17) and elements ( 18) for coupling to the second latch (4); the first latch (3) comprises a recess (19) proximate to the shoulder (16) for the entry of the tooth (15) of the slide (7) in the event the first latch (3) is forced to retract in order to break and enter, with consequent temporary decoupling of the first latch (3) from the slide (7) and maintenance of the second latch (4) in the extraction configuration, and vice versa.
