A slide opening door assembly which is a pocket door assembly comprising a door leaf having a top edge, a door frame assembly, and a sliding assembly for slideable translation of the door leaf in relation to the door frame assembly between a closed position and an open position, wherein the door frame assembly provides a pocket to receive the door leaf in open position, wherein the assembly is provided in a plurality of parts for assembly in situ, comprising in a first part the door leaf, in a second part the door frame assembly with bay or pocket configured to receive the door leaf, or in second and third parts the door frame assembly and separate bay or pocket configured to receive the door leaf, and wherein the door assembly is disposed and configured in manner which prevents ligature about the door leaf top edge and in manner which prevents access to the sliding assembly for tamper purpose or for ligature purpose; a kit comprising a slide opening door frame assembly and a door leaf, a method for assembling a door leaf in a slide opening door frame assembly, and the use thereof in manner to prevent misuse including ligature and tampering.

A hydraulic hinge for closing and/or opening and/or checking a closing element, such as a door, a window, a shutter or the like, anchored to a stationary support structure, such as a wall, a floor, a frame or the like. The hinge comprises a fixed element (20) anchorable to the stationary support structure and a movable element (10) anchorable to the closing element. The fixed (20) and movable (10) elements are mutually coupled in such a way that the latter (10) rotates with respect to the former (20) about a first longitudinal axis (X) between an open position and a closed position. One of the fixed element (20) and the movable element (10) includes at least one working chamber (13) defining a second longitudinal axis (Y), which comprises at least one portion (15) which includes: a plunger member (51) sliding along the second axis (Y) and a working fluid to hydraulically dampen the movement of the movable element (10). The plunger member (51) is mutually connected with one of the fixed element (20) and the movable element (10) so that the rotation of the latter (10) corresponds to the sliding of the former (51) and vice-versa. The plunger member (51) divides the at least one portion (15) of the working chamber (13) in at least two variable volume compartments (18, 19) fluidically communicating with each other. Upon one of the opening or closing of the closing element the working fluid flows from one of the first compartment (18) and the second compartment (19) to the other of the first compartment (18) and the second compartment (19), while upon the other of the opening or closing of the closing element the working fluid flows from the other of the first compartment (18) and the second compartment (19) to the one of the first compartment (18) and the second compartment (19).

A concealed hinge for the rotatable movement of a door (D) comprising a fixed element (10) and a movable element (20), the latter being rotatably coupled with the fixed element (10) to rotate between an open position and a closed position about a first longitudinal axis (X). The fixed element (10) includes a box-shaped hinge body (11), while the movable element (20) includes a connecting plate (21). One of the second end portions (23, 23') of the connecting plate (21) includes a curved cam element (60) rotating about the first axis (X), the box-shaped hinge body (11) further including at least one working chamber (70) defining a second longitudinal axis (Y) spaced apart from the first axis (X) and substantially parallel thereto. The at least one working chamber (70) includes a plunger member (80) slidable along the second longitudinal axis (Y) and elastic means (90) operatively connected with the plunger member (80), the latter including a front face (81) facing the curved cam element (60) and interacting therewith so that the rotation of the cam element (60) about the first axis (X) corresponds to the sliding of the plunger member (80) along the second axis (Y) and vice- versa.

The present invention relates to a concealed door hinge for fastening a door leaf to a door frame, the door hinge comprising: a fixing piece (10), which forms a bracket-shaped bend unit and is fixed onto the hinge installation unit of the door frame; a rotating piece (20) having on one side thereof a shaft pin coupling unit, which couples with a shaft pin (15) that is a rotation support shaft, and connecting on the other side thereof with the door leaf, such that the movement of the rotating piece within the bracket-shaped bend unit of the fixing piece (10) is enabled when the door leaf is opened/closed; and an L-shaped door leaf connection fitting (30), which is fixed onto the door leaf and insertingly attached to the rotating piece (20), wherein the rotating piece (20) has a hollow portion (24), which has a vertical opening on the surface of one side thereof, and the door leaf connection fitting (30) is insertingly connected to the hollow portion (24), and thus when a protruding portion (35) is inserted into the hollow portion (24), the height of the protruding portion (35) can be adjusted by a first adjusting unit located on the upper and the lower sides of the rotating piece (20), which enables the adjustment of the height of the door leaf during door construction. The present invention primarily allows easy insertion of the protruding portion of the door leaf into the hollow portion of the door frame, fine adjustment of the height of the door leaf, and easy adjustment of the space between the door leaf and the door frame during various door constructions, which greatly facilitate the fastening of the door to the door frame and reduces the construction time. Also, fixing the door completely using a fastening unit enhances the durability thereof by preventing twisting of the door leaf that can result from prolonged use.

A window balance assembly may include a carrier, a spring element, and a mounting bracket. The spring element may include first and second portions. The first portion may be coupled to the carrier. The mounting bracket may engage the second portion of the spring element and may selectively engage the carrier. The mounting bracket may include a first mounting surface disposed at a non-perpendicular angle relative to an exterior surface of carrier when the window balance assembly is in an uninstalled configuration. The first mounting surface may be substantially parallel to the exterior surface of the carrier when the window balance assembly is in an installed configuration and the mounting bracket is disengaged from the carrier.

Door construction comprising a door panel and at the top and at the bottom each time a self-closing pivot hinge. Each of the pivot hinges comprises a spring (23) which extends along the rotation axle and which provides a self-closing function to the pivot hinge. Each of the pivot hinges comprises a first cam element (12) and a second cam element (11 ) which are pushed onto each other by the spring (23) and push the door panel towards the closed position under the influence of the spring pressure. The first cam element (12) comprises at least one protrusion (27, 28) which upon rotation runs along a running surface (41, 42, 43) with inclined parts (43) of the second cam element (11 ). The second cam element (11 ) element is movably mounted in longitudinal direction of the pivot axle (25) by means of a pen (26) which is accommodated in a slotted hole (44) of the second cam element (11 ). The slotted hole (44) extends at least partly between the inclined parts (43) of the running surface.

The invention is based on a refrigerator with a door bearing for fastening a pivot-open door (2) of the domestic refrigerator. The door bearing has a fastening element (9), by means of which it is fastened on the housing (1) of the domestic appliance, and a bearing element (6), which is connected to the fastening element (9) via a bearing arm (3) and by means of which the door bearing engages in the door (2). According to the invention, when the door (2) is open, the bearing arm (3) is located in a position in which it is offset in height in relation to its rest position, which it assumes when the door (2) is closed.
