A window balance assembly may include a carrier, a spring element, and a mounting bracket. The spring element may include first and second portions. The first portion may be coupled to the carrier. The mounting bracket may engage the second portion of the spring element and may selectively engage the carrier. The mounting bracket may include a first mounting surface disposed at a non-perpendicular angle relative to an exterior surface of carrier when the window balance assembly is in an uninstalled configuration. The first mounting surface may be substantially parallel to the exterior surface of the carrier when the window balance assembly is in an installed configuration and the mounting bracket is disengaged from the carrier.

Apparatus (10) for use with barrier movement systems (16) in which a flexible member (26, 26') is used to move or support the barrier. The apparatus measures tension in the flexible member and generates a signal when the tension eases beyond a predetermined point. Additionally, the apparatus includes a stop member (83) which moves in response to easing tension to a position to stop further barrier movement.

A roller assembly (1) for supporting a panel (62), including a coupling (5) for connecting the assembly (1) to the panel (62) and a roller (3) for transferring the weight load of the panel (62) to a sill (30), the roller (3) being received in the sill (30) and oriented for rotation about an axis (38) which extends in a direction of the weight load. The invention also relates to a sill and panel assembly for use with the roller assembly.

A lifting device (1) for a top hung roof window, said device comprising a lifting arm (2) having a first end (3) connectable to a sash or frame 5 element of said window, and a second end (4) pivotally connected to a slide block (5) adapted for slidable engagement with an opposite frame or sash element, the slide block (5) being in turn connected to a primary biasing means (6) arranged to urge the slide block (5) in a first direction. To provide a lifting device, which can provide a large opening 10 to a roof window for rescue purposes, the lifting arm (2) is extendable and comprises a secondary biasing means (7) urging to extend the lifting arm (2).

According to the invention, a variable transmission is provided in the sense of an essentially constant load of the drive motor over the entire regulating distance, especially an increased transmission when arriving in the closed position, in order to increase the work load of the actuating drive motor (1) while providing an improved jamming prevention of a closing part. Said closing part is, in particular, a motor vehicle window pane (2) which can be displaced by a transmission, especially a cable drive drum (3 or 4). For this, the drive motor, for example, is not to be designed with regard to the maximal load when arriving in the closed position and, at the same time, a rapid jamming prevention is possible due to the slower speed when approaching the closed position.

본 발명은 호차에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는, 이송브라켓에 형성된 적어도 하나 이상의 결합홈에 외경면 둘레에 경사면이 형성된 구름휠 상부의 회전축을 삽입하되, 회전축 상부에 스러스트부재를 설치하여 스러스트 하중이 회전축 상단 또는 스러스트부재에 집중되게 하고, 스러스트부재 하부에 위치한 회전축과 결합홈 내측면에 래디얼부재를 설치하여 래디얼하중을 지지하게 한다. 따라서, 스러스트하중과 래디얼하중을 효율적으로 흡수분산 및 분담되도록 구조를 개선하여 회전축 또는 구름휠에 작용하는 편중된 수직하중과 측면밀힘현상에 의한 스러스트부재 및 래디얼부재의 내구성 저하 문제를 해결하고, 스러스트부재와 래디얼부재가 밀봉된 구조로 구성될 수 있도록 하여 이물질, 습기 등에 의한 스러스트부재와 래디얼부재의 내구성 저하 문제를 해소할 수 있게 하는 호차를 제공한다.

Said lower door panel portion (9)is provided with supporting runners (11) which runners are guided along at least part of said guide rails (3). The overhead sliding door arrangement is characterized in a safety system (1) comprising said top door panel portion (8) and said upper substantially horizontal guide section (4), wherein said top door panel portion (8) is provided with a top runner (12) which is guided in said upper guide section (4), and a braking device (13) being arranged to said safety system (1) for enabling a mechanical braking action of said top door panel portion (8) for reducing a closing force of said lower door panel portion (9) during closing movement.
