Abstract:
A tubular string is advanced with a bottom hole assembly as the hole is drilled and reamed in a desired direction with the aid of directional drilling equipment adjacent the bit. When the advanced tubular forms the desired lap to the existing tubular, the assembly can be configured to cement the tubular and expansion can then be accomplished to fill the annular space and enhance the cement bonding. The expansion equipment can create a bottom bell on the expanded tubular and expand the top end into a bell of the existing tubular so that a monobore is created as the process is repeated with each added string. Numerous variations are contemplated for each single trip including but not limited to the direction of expansion, whether cementing or expansion occurs first, reforming folded tubing in the hole as well as the nature of the expansion tool and pressure control when drilling.

The disclosure of this application is directed to a downhole tool comprising a central element/member and a sleeve that is rotatably and orbitally disposed around the central element/member. The sleeve rotates and orbits around the central element/member responsive to fluid flowing through the downhole too. The disclosure is also related to a method of advancing the downhole tool in a well by flowing fluid through the tool.

The invention refers to a device especially for performing of a drilling in earth layer and rocks whereby a first unit is used comprising a counter sink hammer, which by its strokes acts towards a bore crown for drilling a bore hole at the same time as a driving downwards can be done of a casing pipe into the bore hole made together with the bore crown used and a second unit for feeding pressure air at first hand needed for the operation of the first unit. The second unit (1) comprises a high pressure compressor (3) mounted on a load vehicle (2), which is connected to and is driven by a power take off (4) of that gear box (5) belonging to existing motor (6) of the load vehicle (2) at the same time as a control unit (7) is connected to the motor (6) of the load vehicle (2) for adjusting of its motor speed and hence that pressure which the high pressure compressor (3) is delivering and pressure sensors (8) are provided to maintain predetermined working pressures.

A reaming assembly (10) having an inner mandrel (12) including spiral lobes disposed on an outer surface thereof. The inner mandrel (12) is hollow and is sized large enough to freely pass a standard drill bit therethrough. The reaming assembly (10) includes an outer mandrel (18) disposed around the inner mandrel (12) and includes spiral lobes disposed on an inner surface of the outer mandrel. The outer mandrel (18) has a number of spiral lobes equal to the number of spiral lobes of the inner mandrel (12) plus one. The reaming assembly includes a spacing between the outer surface of the inner mandrel (12) and the inner surface of the outer mandrel (18) through which fluid is pumped to generate torque therebetween; wherein at least one of the inner and outer mandrel is free to rotate.

Latchable casing while drilling systems and methods are disclosed. Some system embodiments include a casing string including an upper latch apparatus and a lower latch apparatus. The system also includes a bottom hole assembly (BHA) latched into the lower latch apparatus for steerable drilling, the BHA configured to latch into the upper latch apparatus for enlarging a rat hole.

In one embodiment, there is provided a system for liner drilling in a wellbore that includes a drill bit, a mud motor, a reamer, a drill pipe work string including an expandable liner hanger running tool, and a thruster coupled to an expandable liner hanger and liner. A release pin may be provided in the expandable liner hanger running tool that can be sheared to de-couple the expandable liner hanger from the expandable liner hanger running tool allowing the drill pipe work string to be removed from the borehole while the liner remains in place. A latch coupling is also provided for coupling the expandable liner hanger running tool to the expandable liner hanger when the drill pipe work string is tripped back into the borehole so the liner drilling can be performed using the thruster until the thruster is at full stroke.

A presente invenção se situa nos campos da engenharia de petróleo e engenharia mecânica.

The downhole tool (14) comprises a tubular housing (20) and a cartridge assembly (36), the cartridge assembly (36) disposed within the housing (20) of the downhole tool (14) and comprising the rotary drive (16) of the downhole tool (14). A clutch (78) is provided to enable free movement of the cutting member (18) during normal operation, engagement of the clutch (78)preventing rotation of the cutting member (18)and the housing (20).

Die Bohrvorrichtung umfasst ein Gehäuse (12), welches in das Stützrohr einsetzbar und an dem Stützrohr drehfest fixierbar ist, eine Schneideinrichtung (56) zum Abtragen von Bodenmaterial, einen Drehantrieb (26) zum drehenden Antreiben der Schneideinrichtung und eine Zuführeinrichtung, mit welcher eine Spülflüssigkeit in einen Bereich der Schneideinrichtung zuführbar ist. Oberhalb der Schneideinrichtung ist ein Aufnahmebehälter (44) angeordnet, in welchen abgetragenes Bodenmaterial mit der Spülflüssigkeit förderbar ist. In dem Aufnahmebehälter ist mindestens ein Rührelement (46) zum Verrühren des abgetragenen Bodenmaterials mit der Spülflüssigkeit vorgesehen. Mit einer Abführeinrichtung (70) ist das abgetragene Bodenmaterial zusammen mit der Spülflüssigkeit aus dem Aufnahmebehälter nach oben abführbar. A longer-lasting, lower cost, more powerful, all metal, mud motor than the presently available progressing cavity type mud motors for drilling boreholes into the earth. A mud motor apparatus possessing one single drive shaft that turns a rotary drill bit, which apparatus is attached to a drill pipe which provides high pressure mud to the mud motor, wherein the drive shaft receives at least a first portion of its rotational torque from any high pressure mud flowing through a first hydraulic chamber within the apparatus, and receives at least a second portion of its rotational torque from any high pressure mud flowing through a second hydraulic chamber within the apparatus. The mud motor apparatus possesses two hydraulic chambers, each having its own power stroke, and return stroke, and acting together in a controlled fashion, provide continuous power to a rotary drill bit.
