A pump assembly for delivering high pressure fuel to a fuel injection system comprises: at least one pumping unit having an associated pumping element; a housing (12) defining a chamber (20) for a lubricating fluid provided through a fluid inlet (54); and a drive shaft (14) rotatably mounted in the housing, the drive shaft being rotatable about its longitudinal axis to actuate, by a cam section (40) thereof, the pumping element of the at least one pumping unit, the drive shaft comprising a radial flange (50) protruding in said chamber (20). At least one collecting channel (58) is provided in the flange (50), the collecting channel (58) having an outer end (60) opening into the chamber (20) at the outer periphery of the flange and an inner end (62) in fluid communication with a central channel (64) in the drive shaft. The central channel (64) extends longitudinally in the drive shaft (14) and has an outlet (66) in the vicinity of a fluid outlet (56) of the chamber, whereby the collecting channel (58) and central channel (64) form a back-leak flow path in said drive shaft (14).

Eine Hochdruckpumpe (1), die insbesondere für Brennstoffeinspritzanlagen von luftverdichtenden, selbstzündenden Brennkraftmaschinen dient, weist eine Nockenwelle (2) auf. An der Nockenwelle (2) ist ein Nocken (6) mit einer Lauffläche (7) und zumindest einer zur axialen Lagerung dienenden Anlaufschulter (15, 35) ausgebildet. Zwischen der Lauffläche (7) und der Anlaufschulter (15, 35) ist eine an dem Nocken (6) umlaufende Fase (21) vorgesehen. Zwischen der umlaufenden Fase (21) und der Anlaufschulter (15, 35) ist zumindest eine Kante (22, 23) gebildet. Diese Kante (22, 23) ist als entschärfte Kante (22, 23) ausgestaltet. Zum Entschärfen dient eine entschärfende Fase (32) oder eine Abrundung (31).

A plate segment for a reciprocating pump power end frame assembly, the power end frame assembly having a pair of end plate segments and at least one middle plate segment disposed between the end plate segments. The plate segment consists of the middle plate segment or one of the pair of end plate segments and includes a plate having a front wall, a rear wall, a top wall, a bottom wall and a pair of sidewalls and at least one opening forming a bearing support surface, the opening extending through the plate. The plate segment further includes at least one extension extending from at least one of the sidewalls of the plate at a position to align with and contact a corresponding extension on an adjacently positioned plate.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kurbeltriebanordnung eines Kolbenverdichters, mit einem an einem Kurbelzapfen (3) einer Kurbelwelle angeordneten Wälzlager (2), an welchem ein Pleuel (1) über einen Zwischenring (4) angebracht ist, der mit Mitteln zur Verdrehsicherung gegenüber dem Pleuel (1) zusammenwirkt, wobei die Mittel zur Verdrehsicherung eine spielfrei im Pleuel (1) mittels Gewinde befestigte Stiftanordnung (5) aufweisen, welche über eine spielbehaftete Passung formschlüssig im Zwischenring (4) zum Eingriff kommt.

Disclosed is a reciprocating compressor, including a latching unit (140) which uses a magnetic force and by which a piston (123) is reciprocated by two times a total eccentric amount obtained by adding an eccentric amount of an eccentric portion to an eccentric amount of an eccentric sleeve (121 ) in a power mode, while the piston (123) is reciprocated by two times the eccentric amount of the eccentric portion in a saving mode, whereby the piston (123) can have an upper dead point same in the power mode and the saving mode of the compressor, resulting in reducing a dead volume between the piston (123) and a discharge valve and increasing a variable ratio of a cooling capacity of the compressor in the saving mode.

A hydraulic oil well pump drive system (100) for driving an oil well sucker rod (not shown) includes a master piston (158) positioned within a master cylinder (156) for axial displacement between first and second ends of the master cylinder (156). The master piston (158) has a piston drive rod (164) which extends through one end of the master cylinder (156). The drive rod (164) is connected to a crankpin (147) of an eccentric crank (144). The eccentric crank (144) is driven at a constant rotational speed to reciprocate the master piston (158) within the master cylinder (156) at a sinusoidal rate. A center seal assembly (168) divides the master cylinder (156) into a working chamber (170) and a pressure chamber (172) in opposite ends of the master cylinder (156). Each respective chamber defines a fluid volume which varies with the displacement of the master piston (158). The master piston (158) displacement creates a bi-directional flow of working fluid from the working chamber (170). A wellhead hydraulic assembly (111) is operably connected to the oil well sucker rod and is in fluid communication with the master cylinder working chamber (170) to receive the working fluid flow. The wellhead hydraulic assembly (111) is responsive to the working fluid flow to reciprocate an oil well sucker rod at a rate which relates to the rate of master piston (158) displacement. A gas accumulator (176) is in fluid communication with the master cylinder pressure chamber (172) to bias the master piston (158) toward the master cylinder working end, providing an upward biasing force at the wellhead hydraulic assembly (111).
