Abstract:
Some embodiments provide release apparatuses comprising: a body having first and second mating sections each connected to separate tethers; locking shoes each movable between a first position configured to lock the first and second mating sections together and a second position configured to allow the first and second mating sections to disconnect; an actuator configured to move the locking shoes between the first and second positions; wherein each of the locking shoes comprises a locking surface configured to contact an engagement surface of the second mating section and maintain a position of the first mating section with the second mating section; wherein portions of the locking surface comprise toric geometries that are not in contact with the engagement surface when the locking shoes are in the first position and do not come into contact with the engagement surface as the locking shoes transition to the second position.
Abstract:

Abstract:
A coupling link for connecting two parts together includes link components (which each form a partial link) that are joined together with a removable support. The support and link components are coupled together to withstand high loads and/or adverse wear conditions. The inventive construction is strong, durable, efficient, cost effective and easy to use. Wear caps are provided to facilitate extended usable chain life.
Abstract:
Embodiments herein relate to the general art of connector links, and to the particular field of coupling links for coupling to one or more chain links. Particular embodiments include coupling links having a body with a central portion that has an aperture passing therethrough, a closed first end that is integral, and a second end that has an opening, and a retaining member in the form of a removable, deformable, or pivotable member that may selectively provide a closure to the opening. Other embodiments include retaining members on both ends of the coupling link.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A safety shackle includes a U-shaped shackle body and a bolt shaft. Two ends of the opening of said shackle body are each provided with a screw hole, and the front end of the bolt shaft is reached the screw hole at one end of the shackle body and screwed into the screw hole at the other end thereof. The screw size of the screw holes cooperates with that of the bolt shaft. Preferably, said bolt shaft is a regular bolt. The frond end (L5) and the rear end (L6) of said bolt shaft have the same screw size. Alternatively, the screw size of the frond end is less than that of the rear end. Further, the length (L4) of the bolt shaft is equal to or less than the outside width (L3) of the two ends of the opening of said shackle body. With the invention, the bolt shaft would not fall off even if the screw at one end get loose or the bolt shaft breaks at its center, so as to make the connection safer and more reliable.
Abstract:
A coupling device for coupling a hoisting member, such as a hook (1), to a flexible hoisting strap (7). The device includes a coupling part (4) having a straight bar portion (6) with which the strap (7) engages. The device also includes a hoisting body part, such as a hook body (2) to be coupled to a hoisting device or a load. An entrance opening (10) is located opposite to the straight bar portion (6) and is dimensioned to snugly receive the narrowest dimension of the hoisting strap (7).
Abstract:
A coupling link for coupling two chain end portions to each other. The link body (1) is elongated with a length corresponding to at least twice the greatest width thereof, the link body being widest at a central portion. Each opposite end portion (2, 3) of the link body is formed as a fork-like portion with a transversal anchoring pin (7) for securely anchoring an end link of the associated chain end portion, whereas the central portion (4) of the link body is provided with a central opening (12) permitting insertion of a desired chain link (102) so as to enable the formation of a non-loaded shortening loop of at least one of the two chain end portions.
Abstract:
The present disclosure is directed to hook and chain assemblies, including those suitable for use in food processing environments. The chain passes through a hook body, where it is secured by a retaining pin when under tension or load. The chain can be quickly and easily removed for servicing, cleaning, and sanitation of the hook body.
