A connection includes a first tubular member having a first screw threadform defined by a first plurality of crests, roots, and flanks, where each flank separates each crest from each root. The connection also includes a second tubular member having a second screw threadform defined by a second plurality of crests, roots, and flanks, where each flank separates each crest from each root. The crests and roots are substantially axial to the tubular members and the flanks are substantially radial to the tubular members. The first tubular member and the second tubular member are configured to connect when the first threadform engages with the second threadform. Thread compound relief spaces are formed between the first plurality of crests and the second plurality of roots and between the second plurality of crests and the first plurality of roots when the first and second tubular members connect.

A tamper-resistant frictionless connector assembly includes an outer sleeve with a first end and a second end opposite to the first end along an axis. A first sealed ring bearing has first outer ring, inner ring, and bearings, where the first outer ring is directly coupled to the outer sleeve at the first end. An inlet adapter directly coupled to the first inner ring and not directly coupled to the outer sleeve. A second sealed ring bearing has a second outer ring, inner ring, and bearings, where the second outer ring is directly coupled to the outer sleeve at a second end. An outlet adapter directly coupled to the second inner ring and not directly coupled to the outer sleeve. A thrust axial bearing abutting the inlet and outlet adapters, where the sealed ring bearings, the inlet adapter, and the outlet adapter are aligned along the axis.

A pin-box well tubular connector assembly having pin and box connector members (6, 5) with intermeshing external and internal screw thread profiles is optimized for expansion downhole in a wellbore by: A) inserting a swellable dope in the gap between the pin and box connector members (6, 5) and optionally B) configuring the pin and box connectors ( 6, 5 ) such that in axial direction a gap of at least 0.2 mm is present between the external and internal screw thread profiles; and/or C) configuring the box connector member (5) such that it has at least one thread (10) that does not engage a thread on the pin member (6).

A tubing or fitting assembly has an inner tube layer, an outer tube layer, a sleeve, a tip portion, and can have a nut. Each of the nut, sleeve, inner and outer tubing layers, and tip portion have a passageway therethrough, with at least the passageways in the sleeve, tip portion, outer tube layer, and nut adapted to allow the inner tube layer to pass therethrough or extend over the inner layer. The tip portion can be molded over an end portion of the inner tube layer and also over a portion of the sleeve. The ends of the tip portion and inner layer together define a substantially flat surface which can form a seal in a flat-bottomed port of a component such as may be found in any one of a number of components in an analytical instrument system, including for example a liquid chromatography system.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Zwischenhalter (3), der an seinem Außenumfang zumindest ein Haltemittel (5) zur Befestigung des Zwischenhalters (3) in einem Wasserauslauf (4) einer sanitären Auslaufarmatur (1) und an seinem Innenumfang wenigstens ein Befestigungsmittel (6) zum lösbaren Befestigen einer sanitären Funktionseinheit (2) aufweist. Ein Lösungsvorschlag gemäß der Erfindung sieht vor, dass der Zwischenhalter (3) aus einem Materialstreifen hergestellt ist und seine Halte- und Befestigungsmittel (5, 6) als Umformfahnen des Materialstreifens ausgebildet sind, die an ihrem einen Fahnenende über einen Biegebereich mit dem Materialstreifen verbunden sind und die mit ihrem gegenüberliegenden freien anderen Fahnenende über den Umfang des Materialstreifens vorstehen.
