L'invention a trait à un module d'éclairage (2), notamment pour véhicule automobile, comprenant une source lumineuse du type laser (4) apte à émettre un faisceau lumineux cohérent suivant une direction donnée et monochromatique d'une longueur d'onde λ, un dispositif photoluminescent (8) apte à convertir le faisceau lumineux cohérent et monochromatique en un faisceau lumineux incohérent. Le module comprend, en outre, un réflecteur dichroïque (10) configuré pour réfléchir les rayons de la longueur d'onde λ du faisceau lumineux provenant du dispositif photoluminescent (8). Selon une variante, il comprend en outre un polariseur (14) des rayons réfléchis par le réflecteur dichroïque (10), ledit polariseur polarisant lesdits rayons suivant une direction perpendiculaire à la direction de polarisation du faisceau lumineux cohérent et monochromatique lorsqu'il rencontre ledit polariseur, de manière à bloquer ledit faisceau en cas de défaillance du dispositif photoluminescent.

The present invention relates to a coupling and various methods of use of the coupling. In one embodiment the invention provides a coupling for use with an appliance operated by a power supply, which coupling allows mounting/dismounting of the appliance without electrical isolation from the supply said coupling comprising: a) a mounting member having a first encapsulated transformer element and suitable controls connectable to the power supply, said member being suitable for fixing to a structure; and b) a holder member engageable with said mounting member, wherein the holder member is suitable for holding or for connecting thereto an appliance, said holder member having other suitable controls and a second encapsulated transformer element able conduct power to an appliance; c) wherein engagement of the first and second members is able i) to cause induction of current in the second encapsulated transformer element enabling powering of an appliance and ii) is able to cause a signal to be carried between the controls and an appliance to control and/or monitor the appliance; and wherein disengagement of the first and second members results in no induction and no carriage of the signal.

The invention relates to an electronic array comprising a power supply unit (10), (11), a first electronic unit and a second electronic unit in a first dimension, wherein the first electronic unit and the second electronic unit each comprise a management unit, and the first electronic unit and the second electronic unit are arranged in series to each other, further comprising a third electronic unit and a fourth electronic unit in a second dimension, wherein the second dimension is arranged perpendicular to the first dimension, wherein the third electronic unit and the fourth electronic unit each comprise a management unit, and the third electronic unit and the fourth electronic unit are arranged in series to each other. In this way, a simple, cheap and steadily ready-to-operate electronic array adapted for electronic circuit applications is provided.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Modul (10) für eine explo- sionsgeschützte Leuchte (22) oder für eine andere explosi- onsgeschützte elektrische Einrichtung. Das Modul (10) ist dazu eingerichtet, eine nicht eigensichere Eingangsleistung an einem Eingang (11) in jeweils eine eigensichere Aus- gangsleistung an mehreren Ausgängen (17) umzuwandeln. An jeden Ausgang (17) ist dabei eine entsprechende elektrische Last, beispielsweiseeine Leuchtdiodenanordnung aus wenigs- tens einer Leuchtdiode (21), anschließbar bzw. angeschlos- sen. Die Ausgänge (17) können zwischen einem ersten Ein- gangsanschluss (12) und einem zweiten Eingangsanschluss (13) des Eingangs (11) parallel oder in Reihe geschaltet sein. Wenigstens eine Stromüberwachungseinrichtung (27) überwacht einen Ausgangsstrom (IA). Wenigstens eine Span- nungsüberwachungseinrichtung überwacht eine Ausgangsspan- nung (UA). Sobald eine Ausgangsspannung (UA) einen Span- nungsgrenzwert überschreitet und/oder sobald ein Ausgangs- strom (IA) einen Stromgrenzwert überschreitet, wird mittels einer Ansteuerschaltung (28) ein Sicherheitsschalter (16) in seinen sperrenden Zustand umgeschaltet.

Disclosed is a lighting armature, which is provided with one or more built-in light sources (11), at least one built-in associated supply circuit for the light sources and provisions for electrical energy supply from outside the armature to the built-in supply circuit. The armature is suitable for use in environments where explosion hazard may exist. It includes a housing (1) and one or more light windows (2). The housing and the one or more light windows jointly enclose a space in which the at least one light source and the at least one supply circuit are arranged. The housing and the light windows are manufactured from materials which poorly transmit or do not transmit gas and moisture, so that gas and moisture can only poorly or cannot penetrate from outside the armature into the space. The space is filled with at least a non-explosive gas such as nitrogen.
