L'invention concerne un dispositif mètre à ruban équipé de moyens pour mesurer et/ou pour marquer/découper un objet soumis audit dispositif comprenant un ruban, une coque (3), équipée d'un enrouleur, une ouverture de passage (5) pour ledit ruban (2) au travers de la paroi de la coque (3), un embout (6), assujetti à l'extrémité distale dudit ruban (2), un bouton d'arrêt (7) dudit enrouleur pour le blocage dudit ruban ou au contraire le libre enroulement/déroulement dudit ruban (2), Selon l'invention, lesdits moyens pour marquer/découper un objet sont constitués par un épaulement de guidage (8) formé sur ladite coque (3), une lumière de guidage (9) au niveau dudit embout (6) destinée pour l'insertion de manière amovible de l'extrémité d'un outil de marquage/découpe et une surface de glissement (60) dudit embout (6), destiné à coopérer en translation sur la surface de l'objet à marquer/découper afin de marquer/découper ledit objet à partir de l'une de ses faces lorsque l'on fait glisser simultanément ledit épaulement de guidage (8) le long d'une arête dudit objet et ledit embout (6) du ruban contre la face de l'objet à marquer/découper.

A magnetic hook of a tape measure includes a magnet (3), a hook body (1) which comprises a horizontal part (11) connected with a ruler blade and a vertical part (12) having a front surface (12b) and a rear surface (12a), and at least one through hole (121) in which the magnet (3) can mounted suitably is provided on the vertical part (12); charactered in that the magnetic hook also includes a gasket (2) formed with a mounting hole or a mounting slot (24) adapted for the magnet (3), and the gasket (2) is mounted in the through hole (121) suitably.
Abstract:
A marking device for making layout marks an surfaces such as boards, panels, or walls including a tape measure with a plurality of holes disposed along its length is disclosed. The device also contains a reel for dispensing a chalk line wherein the chalk line is positioned over the tape measure. The chalk line may be tensioned and snapped to transfer chalk through the holes, thereby providing marks at predetermined intervals.
Abstract:
A measuring device (10) having two measuring tapes (14, 20) held on separate reels (26, 30) in a housing (12). The housing (12) has two windows (32, 34) for displaying measurement indicia appearing on each tape. The tapes (14, 20) are spring biased toward a fully wound condition. Each tape has a button controlled clutch (28, 44) locking each respective tape in an extended condition. A user draws a first tape (14) around her torso just below the breasts, connects the tape to the end of the second tape (20) at the housing (12), and locks the tape in place. The device is then moved upwardly, now encircling the breasts, and the second tape (20) is extended to accommodate the additional girth and locked in place. The device is then removed and sizes are displayed in the windows (32, 34). The first tape (14) measures and indicates the rib cage girth, and the second tape (20) converts the additional measurement to cup size.

A mesuring device with visual indicators and a low pressure spool release mechanism. The device has two sensors which when located against an object independently illuminate visual indicator. One of the sensors is extractable from the measuring device in order to place the sensor against one of the objects. The sensors are linked by a flexible elongate member used for measuring the distance between the objects. A button is provided to lock the sensors at the required distance apart.
