The setting can include setting a predetermined time to trigger the alarm, indicating a target application to launch when the alarm is triggered, and identifying content for access by the target application when the target application is launched. The method can include launching the target application based on the triggering of the alarm, identifying an external device for execution of the identified content, and providing the identified content for execution on the external device.

There is disclosed a power supply current usage control system in or for use in a power supply path (E, N, L) for an apparatus. The system comprises: timer control means (13, 14, 15, 16) which may be set to specify a total time duration for which supply of operating current to said apparatus is to be permitted to flow through the supply path; switch means (19, 20) controllable by the timer control means for permitting or interrupting the flow of operating current through the supply path (E, N, L); and current flow detection means (8) for detecting the flow of apparatus operating current and for providing an output to said timer control means indicative of operation of said apparatus to enable determination of the cumulative time of operation of the apparatus.

The invention relates to an image recording/reproducing apparatus such that a video camera directly accesses a server through a network so as to communicate data. A network access program (26c) stored in a storage unit (26) controls a GMT program (26b) so as to calculate the world standard time or the Greenwich mean time from information on the time difference of each area included in the area information (26a) stored in a RAM (24c) incorporated in a microcomputer (24), on whether the time is the daylight saving time (summer time) or not, and on the time generated by a real time clock (25) set by a date/time setting processing. The invention can be applied to, e.g., a video camera.

A switching device of the type that can be placed between electric outlet and a load and is provided with a switch and electronic circuits including a programmable control device in order to close and break the circuit according to predetermined conditions. This is not provided with any external mechanical or electromechanical means for setting, and the conditions for switching and time adjustment are fixedly built in or programmed. In one embodiment moreover functions for switching and time setting are controlled by an optic or acoustic sensor connected to the control device. Hereby, a compact structure and a simple but reliable function is obtained.

La presente invención corresponde a un dispositivo de control y restricción que comprende una caja portadora, una cerradura y un sistema de guillotina que atrapa los cables y conectores al interior de la caja. Básicamente, el dispositivo de la invención es un circuito electrónico, que lleva incorporado un sistema de relojería digital (TIMER) con respaldo de energía, el que se puede programar con varios eventos diarios y semanales, que incorpora un botón de corte de energía temporal, por si el administrador del dispositivo quiere interrumpir la sesión asignada sin alterar la programación. También tiene integrado, un reproductor de voz pregrabado, el que le avisa al usuario que su tiempo esta por finalizar, esto con la finalidad de que el usuario tenga el tiempo suficiente para apagar el o los artículos conectados al dispositivo. Además, cuenta con una señal lumínica visible cuando el dispositivo se encuentra energizado o cuando este se encuentra desenergizado. El circuito eléctrico y sus componentes, se encuentran dentro de la caja portadora, hecha de plástico sólido reciclado, que incluye una cerradura con clave de dígitos alfanuméricos y un sistema de guillotina que atrapa los cables y conectores al interior de ésta. La caja portadora incluye conectores hembra que pueden ser fijos o de movimientos independientes con un sistema de ejes para facilitar la conexión de los artículos eléctricos/electrónicos a ser restringidos y controlados.
