A method and system for producing executable applications comprises selecting a processor type and compiling a binary code module for execution by the selected processor type. The method and system further comprise selecting one or more operating systems and linking the binary code module with a loader module for each selected operating system to produce an executable application to be executed on that operating system. Methods and systems for evaluating and simulating executable applications are also disclosed.

A method for preloading an application, a storage medium, and a terminal device are provided. The method includes the follows. Current state feature information of the terminal device is acquired, when an application preloading prediction event is detected to be triggered. The current state feature information is input into a plurality of decision tree prediction models each corresponding to an application in a preset application set, where each of the decision tree prediction models is generated based on a usage regularity of an associated application corresponding to historical state feature information of the terminal device. A target application to be initiated is predicted according to output results of the decision tree prediction models, and then the target application is preloaded.

In accordance with some embodiments, a loader is operable to download a resource bundle from a server to a user device and process/load at least one resource included in the resource bundle before the whole resource bundle is downloaded. A novel data structure for the resource bundle header and the resources of the bundle allows the loading of the resources into a program as the resource bundle continues to be downloaded, thus decreasing the time between a start of the download and a time at which the resources included in the resource bundle are available for use by the program.

The method only decompresses and caches in DRAM memory the portion of code that is running at a certain instance in time (i.e., DRAM window), which maintains a pre-fetched portion of code based on static windowing FLASH.
