Abstract:
Systems, apparatus and methods may provide for audio processing of received user audio input from a microphone that may optionally be a tissue conducting microphone. Audio processing may be further conducted on received ambient audio from one or more additional microphones. A translator may translate the ambient audio into content to be output to a user. In an embodiment, ambient audio is translated into visual content to be displayed on a virtual reality device.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to the use of gestures and feedback to facilitate gathering experiences and/or applause events with natural, social ambiance. For example, audio feedback responsive to participant action may swell and diminish in response to intensity and social aspects of participant participation. Each participant can have unique sounds or other feedback assigned to represent their actions to create a social ambiance.
Abstract:
A management system for guiding an agent in a media- specific dialogue has a conversion engine for instantiating ongoing dialogue as machine-readable text, if the dialogue is in voice media, a context analysis engine for determining facts from the text, a rules engine for asserting rules based on fact input, and a presentation engine for presenting information to the agent to guide the agent in the dialogue. The context analysis engine passes determined facts to the rules engine, which selects and asserts to the presentation engine rules based on the facts, and the presentation engine provides periodically updated guidance to the agent based on the rules asserted.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for adjusting acoustic parameters. In one aspect, a method includes receiving an identifier associated with an enclosure for a computing device, transmitting data identifying the identifier associated with the enclosure for the computing device, and receiving one or more physical parameters of the enclosure for the computing device. The method also includes based on the one or more physical parameters of the enclosure for the computing device, determining, one or more acoustic parameter adjustments of the computing device in the enclosure, the one or more acoustic parameter adjustments being configured to preserve one or more acoustic characteristics of the computing device out of the enclosure while the computing device is in the enclosure, and based on the one or more acoustic parameter adjustments, adjusting the one or more acoustic parameters of the computing device.
Abstract:
Technologies for identifying sounds are disclosed. A sound identification device may capture sound data, and split the sound data into frames. The sound identification device may then determine an acoustic feature vector for each frame, and determine parameters based on how each acoustic feature varies over the duration of time corresponding to the frames. The sound identification device may then determine if the sound matches a pre-defined sound based on the parameters. In one embodiment, the sound identification device may be a baby monitor, and the pre-defined sound may be a baby crying.
Abstract:
Example embodiments disclosed herein relate to audio signal processing. A method of indicating a presence of a nuisance in an audio signal is disclosed. The method includes determining a probability of the presence of the nuisance in a frame of the audio signal based on a feature of the audio signal, the nuisance representing an unwanted sound made by a user, in response to the probability of the presence of the nuisance exceeding a threshold, tracking the audio signal based on a metric over a plurality of frames following the frame, determining, based on the tracking, that the presence of the nuisance is to be indicated to the user, and in response to the determination, presenting to the user a notification of the presence of the nuisance. Corresponding system and computer program product are also disclosed.
