본 발명은 케이블 연결단자를 접합 고정한 차량용 배터리 포스트에 관한 것으로, 배터리 포스트가 장착되는 고정부(11)가 구비되며, 이 고정부(11)의 양측에 각각 조임부(12)와 단자결합부(13)를 구비하는 본체(10)와; 상기 본체(10)의 조임부(12)에 장착되는 클램핑부(14)와; 상기 단자결합부(13)에 설치되는 전류센서와; 상기 단자결합부(13)의 끝단에 결합되는 케이블 연결단자(30)를 포함하는 포스트 터미널에 있어서, 상기 단자결합부(13)와 케이블 연결단자(30)를 서로 접합하여 고정한 것을 기술적 특징으로 한다. 이에 의해 본 발명은 차량의 배터리 포스트에 연결되는 포스트 터미널과 케이블 연결단자가 차량의 주행 중 진동에 의해 체결된 볼트와 너트가 풀려 접촉이 떨어지거나 불안정하게 접촉이 유지되는 문제가 해소되며, 포스트 터미널과 케이블 연결단자가 견고하게 밀착 고정되어 전압강하 방지 효과가 있어 전기적 성능이 향상된다.

L'invention concerne un module électrique d'un véhicule automobile comportant un boîtier électrique (5) et un premier moyen de connexion (25) destiné à coopérer avec un second moyen de connexion associé d'une batterie (7) dudit véhicule pour relier électriquement ledit boîtier (5) à ladite batterie (7). Selon l'invention, le premier moyen de connexion (25) est un moyen de connexion irréversible, sécurisant la connexion entre ledit boîtier (5) et ladite batterie (7). L'invention concerne encore un dispositif électrique d'un véhicule automobile comportant une batterie et un tel module.

A cable terminal having a locking ring and a galvanically compatible crimp tube is connected to a cable to form a corrosion resistant cable assembly. In a particular embodiment, the cable terminal is cast from a lead alloy and the crimp tube is a lead-plated copper tube. The lead plating on the crimp tube cold flows during the crimping operation and forms a secure, reliable mechanical and electrical connection. In a further embodiment, the locking ring has a circumferential groove and is captivated in the cable terminal by an indentation formed from the cable terminal body extending into the groove.

A pre-fuse assembly (10) designed to protect certain components within a vehicle electrical system against short circuits and to provide a user with easy access to a jump post (30) for jump starting a dead battery. The pre-fuse assembly is a current-limiting electrical device that is mounted on top of the vehicle battery (12) and includes fuses (56) for limiting the current from the vehicle battery to a power distribution device and includes a horizontal jump post (30) for providing easy access when jump starting a dead battery without increasing the overall height of the device. In one embodiment, the pre-fuse assembly (10) includes a lower housing (20), an upper housing (22), a battery post connector (24), a master fuse (26), a fastener (28), a horizontal jump post (30) and any number of other components.
