플러그 커넥터와의 결합을 위한 리셉터클 커넥터에 있어서, 절연 몸체; 및 절연 몸체의 양단에 결합되는 가이드 부재를 포함하고, 가이드 부재는, 상면; 상면에서 연장되어 절연 몸체의 내측으로 만곡된 제 1 내측면, 제 2 내측면 및 제 3 내측면을 포함하고, 상면과 제 1 내측면 내지 제 3 내측면 사이의 만곡부는, 절연 몸체의 길이 방향 내측면으로 만곡된 제 1 내측면의 종단부로부터 길이 방향 내측면으로 만곡된 제 2 내측면의 종단부까지 연속적으로 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 리셉터클 커넥터가 개시된다.
Abstract:
At radio frequencies and in particular those associated with LTE and 4G telecommunications in the region of 1 GHz and above, inherent problems have been found with historically employed interconnections that lead to distortions and impairments to the transmitted signal generically termed PIM. This invention relates to creation of a connector system that separates the mechanical connection features from the forward and return transmission path components by use of non-conductive connector bodies and WaveWay a carefully shaped constrained linear signal path with low resistance and capacitance mating surfaces limiting parallel path distortions and smoother shapes to limit 3rd harmonic and other distortions and lower pressure contact requirements to provide at least equivalent PIM performance to conventional connectors at lower frequencies ~800MHz and improved PIM performance at 1 GHz and above.

An electrical connector assembly (100) includes a housing (120) having a front end (122) and a rear end (124) and including housing channels (126) extending axially from the front end to the rear end for holding a wire assembly (102). The connector assembly includes a stabilizer (104) having a front end and a rear end (154). The stabilizer (104) includes supports (158) extending from the front end with support channels (160) along a longitudinal axis of the stabilizer. The stabilizer is coupled to the rear end (124) of the housing (120) so that the support channels (160) align with the housing channels (126) to accept corresponding wire assemblies therein. A front retaining feature (130) holds the stabilizer to the housing. A rear retaining feature (132) holds the wire assemblies to the stabilizer.

An electric cable includes: a flat electric wire (58) that is hard to bend in a longitudinal direction and easy to bend in a lateral direction; and a terminal (48) that is coupled to a terminal end of the flat electric wire (58) and connected to an inverter. The terminal (48) has a wire connection portion (66) coupled to the terminal end of the flat electric wire (58) and a connecting portion (68) connected to the inverter. The terminal (48) is formed so that, when the terminal (48) is connected to the inverter, a plane that includes a flat surface (69) of the connecting portion (68) is oriented in the direction in which the flat electric wire (58) is easy to bend and intersects with the predetermined direction.
