An electrode assembly (10) for use with a living subject includes a substrate (12) having first and second openings (20,22) extendin therethrough, and a first terminal (14) at least partially received within the first opening. The first terminal includes an end portion having a first size. At least a portion of the first terminal configured to conduct electrical current. A second terminal (16) is at least partially received within the second opening. The second terminal includes an end portion having a second size that is different tha the first size of the first terminal end portion. At least a portion of the second terminal is configured to conduct electrical current. T assembly also includes a first electrolytic element (18) configured to transfer electrical current between the skin of a living subject the first terminal, and a second electrolytic element (19) configured to transfer electrical current between the skin of a living subjec and the second terminal.

The present invention relates to a connection base to be used for connecting current supply cables (1) of an electric motor to phase leads (2) of electric motor windings. The connection base comprises a body (3) made of an insulating material and terminals (4) coupled thereto (3), the terminals being arranged to comprise at least one angle (a) and at least a first projection (41) and a second projection (42) on the opposite sides of the angle (a). The body (3) is provided with first reception means (21) for receiving at least the first projection (41) of the terminal (4) and for keeping it in connection with the body (3). In addition, the body (3) is provided with second reception means (14, 15) for receiving a fastening means (12, 13) to be arranged at the first projection (41) of the terminal (4) and for locking it in connection with the body (3), whereby the fastening means (12, 13) is arranged to lock the terminal (4) to the body (3) and to fasten the phase lead (2) to the terminal (4).

An electrode connection system (10) for connecting an electrode wire (30) to a substrate, such as to human skin. The system (10) includes a first connecting member 70) and a second connecting member (80), wherein the first connecting member (70) is connectable to an electrode wire (30), and the second connecting member (80) is connectable to the substrate (90), either directly or through an attachment device (40), such as a bandage. In a first embodiment of the present invention, the first connecting member (70) and the second connecting member (80) may be reversibly and securely connected to each other by inserting a loop of one of the connecting members into a retaining groove (75) of the other connecting member. In a second embodiment, the first and second connecting members (70, 80) may be reversibly and securely connected to each other by inserting a nub of one of the connecting members into a retaining basin of a locking groove (233') of the other connecting member.

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine elektrische Anschlussklemme mit einem eine Leitereinführungsöffnung (2a, 2b) aufweisenden Gehäuse (1), einer in dem Gehäuse (1) angeordneten Stromschiene (3), einem in dem Gehäuse (1) drehbar gelagerten Federelement (4a, 4b), welches in eine geöffnete Position und in eine geschlossene Position verschwenkbar ist, wobei in der geschlossenen Position ein in die Leitereinführungsöffnung (2a, 2b) eingeführter Leiter mittels dem Federelement (4a, 4b) gegen die Stromschiene (3) klemmbar ist, und einem in dem Gehäuse (1) drehbar gelagerten, einen Betätigungsarm (18a, 18b) aufweisenden Betätigungselement (15a, 15b), mittels welchem das Federelement (4a, 4b) zur Überführung in die geöffnete Position und in die geschlossene Position betätigbar ist, wobei das Betätigungselement (15a, 15b) einen an das Federelement (4a, 4b) angepassten Freiraum (19a, 19b) aufweist, in welchen das Federelement (4a, 4b) bei einer Verschwenkbewegung von der geschlossenen Position in die geöffnete Position einschwenkbar ist, ohne eine Drehbewegung des Betätigungselementes (15a, 15b) auszulösen.

Improved pilot devices (106) having inserts comprising a spring-loaded stirrup (92) for clamping electrical conductors, together with a screw (74) for adjusting the clamping action of the stirrup (92) and for releasably locking the stirrup (92) in a fully open position to permit insertion of an electrical conductor, a mechanism for quickly and easily releasing the stirrup (92) when the conductor is in a desired position, and an attachment member for releasably securing the block to a mounting rail (56 and 58). Also, included are independent bus bars (110) which can be selectively operated to create an open or closed circuit condition between two different spring-loaded stirrups (92) in the pilot device (106).
