L'invention concerne un appareillage électrique (1) comprenant une plaque de support (2) munie d'une ouverture centrale (22), un mécanisme agencé au niveau de l'ouverture centrale, et au moins un système de fixation (6, 7) de la plaque de support sur un pot d'encastrement, le système de fixation comprenant une patte munie d'au moins une griffe (16, 17) et une vis montée par vissage direct ou indirect avec la patte, la rotation de la vis dans un sens permettant de déplacer ladite griffe d'une position dégagée vers une position d'ancrage sur une paroi interne du pot d'encastrement, et inversement dans l'autre sens de rotation. L'appareillage électrique (1) comprend des moyens de montage (21) du système de fixation (6, 7) sur la plaque de support (2) mis en œuvre entre au moins ladite plaque de support et ledit système de fixation pour effectuer ledit montage en conservant la vis vissée sur la patte.

L'invention concerne un ensemble d'appareillages électriques à rapporter dans une paroi murale (1), comportant : - deux modules (100, 200) distincts comportant chacun un socle (110, 210) et au moins deux jeux de contacts électriques accessibles au travers du socle (110, 210) via deux jeux d'ouvertures d'introduction qui sont respectivement réparties autour de deux directions moyennes, et - une barrette de connexion (300) comportant des conducteurs électriques adaptés à connecter les contacts d'un jeu de contact de l'un des socles avec les contacts d'un jeu de contacts de l'autre socle. Selon l'invention, les deux directions moyennes sont orthogonales.

The invention relates to electrical equipment (1) comprising a module (30) including: a base (31) made from an insulating material and defining an inner space for receiving an electrical mechanism (32); means (40) for retaining the base in an electrical box (50); and means (45) for adjusting and angularly locking the base in relation to the electrical box. According to the invention, the adjustment and angular locking means comprise at least one notch (47) located on a tab (46) that can move in order to occupy a deployed position towards the exterior of the base, and a stop element (20) is provided that is designed to push the tab into the deployed position.

The present invention provides a novel wall-mounted charging device and modular outlet extender that may be inserted into a standard wall outlet without additional wires and provides a platform for charging the electrical device without intruding into the user's environment. The extender provides a housing, an electrical outlet, a set of electrical connection prongs, and an auxiliary charging port on the top wall. The top wall supports an electrical device while it is connected to the auxiliary port for charging. The device may also include a removable charging tip in the auxiliary port, a second port formed in the bottom wall, auxiliary ports in the bottom wall, and auxiliary ports in the sidewalls. The device will generally include a power supply providing low voltage power to the auxiliary ports to provide low voltage power to electrical devices for charging.

A network interface device (NID) (100) for providing a demarcation point between a central office of a telecommunications network and the customer' s premise wiring, whether a copper wire cable or a fiber optic cable. The NID (100) includes a base unit (110) having a back wall (122) having a perimeter and a continuous side wall (124, 126, 128, 130) extending from the perimeter of the back wall (122), the continuous side wall (124, 126, 128, 130) having a first wall portion (124) and an opposing second wall portion (126) wherein the back wall (122) and the continuous side wall (124, 126, 128, 130) define an interior cavity. The NID includes a cable entrance port (132) and a cable exit port (134) in the first wall portion (124) where both the cable entrance port (132) and the cable exit port (134) include a groove (160) in an external surface. The NID includes a first connecting port (140) and a second connecting port (142) within the opposing second wall portion (126) wherein the connecting ports (140, 142) are configured to accept the groove (160) in the cable entrance and exit ports (130, 132). The NID (100) includes spaced apart first and second torsion reducing elements (504) extending from the first wall portion (124) and spaced apart first and second torsion reducing receiving elements (404) extending from the second wall portion (126) and having a cavity (408) for receiving the first and second torsion reducing elements (504). The NID (100) includes a connecting device (202, 310, 603) within the base unit (110) for connecting or disconnecting a fiber optic cable or copper wire cable from the central office to the premise.

The present invention is directed to a shutter assembly that includes a base tandem member and an inner tandem member disposed within the base tandem member between retainer walls. The inner tandem member is configured to move within the base tandem member from a shutter closed position to a shutter open position when a base tandem key member and an inner tandem key member are simultaneously engaged by a hot plug blade and a neutral plug blade of a plug blade set. An aligning retainer assembly is coupled between the base tandem member and the inner tandem member and is configured to substantially limit both the latitudinal movement and the longitudinal movement of the inner tandem member within the base tandem member such that the inner tandem member is substantially prevented from being skewed when moving between the shutter closed position and the shutter open position.

Devices in the form of flush-mounting plates are disclosed which are adapted to connect, for example, one or more receptacles to an electrical box that is disposed inside of a wall. Such flush-mounting plates include a back side that is adapted to be connected to the electrical box through a set of screws disposed through corresponding apertures located in the flush-mounting plate and electrical box, and a front side that is adapted to be connected to the one or more receptacles and a cover plate having a planar exterior surface. The one or more receptacles are positioned between the flush- mounting plate and the cover plate, such that the cover plate, one or more receptacles, and flush-mounting plate are connected to the electrical box in a manner that the exterior surface of the cover plate is substantially flush with an outer wall that surrounds the electrical box. In addition, the cover plate may be connected to the flush-mounting plate through a set of magnets or mechanical means.
