A support apparatus for portable communication devices is described, comprising an upper fixing block, arranged to receive and retain a portable communication device, and a lower fixing block, arranged to be removably fixed on a motorcycle. The upper fixing block comprises a resting base for the portable communication device and a plurality of hooking means, provided with respective elastic connecting elements to the resting base. The hooking means are arranged to move between a first idle configuration, in which the hooking means are substantially in contact with the resting base and in which the respective elastic connecting elements are substantially not biased, a second intermediate configuration, in which the elastic connecting elements of each hooking means are biased to move the hooking means away from the resting base to rest the portable communication device on such resting base, and a third closure configuration, in which the reaction of the elastic connecting elements pushes all hooking means so as to abut against respective edges and/or corners of the portable communication device, which is then retained and blocked on the apparatus.

The protective apparatus includes a protective apparatus sized and shaped for being attached to a camera equipped mobile device and having a back plane and first and second sides which are laterally opposing one another, a scissor mechanism compartment formed by at least one sidewall and a bottom of the backplane, a scissor mechanism adapted to be manually extended from and manually retracted into the scissor mechanism compartment along an extension axis, and when the protective apparatus is attached to the camera equipped mobile device, a back of a housing of the camera equipped mobile device is placed against a top of the back plane and the lateral sides of the housing are placed against the first and second sides.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein verbessertes Verfahren zur lösbaren Befestigung einer Smartphone - Halterung an einem Einkaufswagen, wobei in einem ersten Schritt ein Smartphone (61) auf eine Aufnahme (51) der Halterung (50) aufgesetzt wird, und wobei in einem zweiten Schritt das Smartphone (61) in der Aufnahme (51) verriegelt wird, wobei das Verriegeln des Smartphones (61) in der Aufnahme (51) einen Verriegelungsmechanismus aktiviert, der die in eine dafür vorgesehene Aufnahme am Einkaufswagen eingesetzte Halterung (50) automatisch in der Aufnahme verriegelt.

An enclosure for communication devices is described comprising a rear housing and a faceplate. Various faceplates may be provided for different communication devices. The rear housing mounts to existing phone backboards. The rear housing may remain mounted and the faceplate exchanged for a different faceplate with a different communication device. The enclosure provides a simple, ubiquitous, an inexpensive enclosure that can support various communication devices that provide a variety of communication services to users such as email, VOIP, video calls, or other advanced telecommunications.

In some embodiments, a wireless power reception apparatus (500) for a portable electronic device (102) is described. The wireless power reception apparatus can include a housing (505), one or more antennas (510), and a wireless power receiver (520, 530). The housing (505) is configured to be removably attachable to the portable electronic device (102). The one or more antennas (510) are situated on or within the housing (505) and are configured to receive wireless power from a wireless charging (or wireless power transmission) system (101). The wireless power receiver (520,530) is disposed within the housing (505) and is configured to process the wireless power received via the one or more antennas (510) and provide the received power to the portable electronic device (102) via a power interface port (540).

Described herein is a mount (1) for supporting a mobile device (3) having a wireless transceiver (60) within a vehicle (5) having a driver. The mount (1) includes a body (7) 5 having a supporting formation (9) adapted to releasably support the mobile device (3) in a supported operative position within the vehicle (5). The mount (1) also includes an electrical interface (25) for connecting to an external power source, the interface (25) being positioned to engage a complementary electrical port (27) of the mobile device (3) when the mobile device (3) is in the operative position to supply power to the mobile 10 device (3). The mount (1) and the mobile device (3) collectively define an illumination device (29, 31) and a first camera (33) that cooperate to obtain predetermined performance information about the driver.
