A method and console are provided that assign a user device access to a remote service, such as a talk group. The user device is provided access to communications history associated with the remote service. At some point access to the remote service for the uer device is revoked, but access to the communications history associated with the remote service is not revoked at this time. At a later time, access to the communications history associated with the remote service from the user device is revoked.
Abstract:
A system and method for notifying a called party of a call attempt is provided. The method comprises initiating a communication request by a calling party; routing the communication request to an intelligent network via an mobile service center; validating the communication request by the intelligent network; and handing over the communication request to an intelligent platform by the intelligent network in the event of a nonstandard trigger event such as calling party insufficienet balance. The processing of communication request by the intelligent platform includes monitoring number of call attempts, introducing a delay in sending notification, monitoring availability of called party and performing one or more actions based on the delay and the availability of the called party.

In an audio conferencing mixing system of the type taking a plurality of audio input streams of input audio information of conference participants, including mixing transition events and outputting a plurality of audio output streams including output audio information, a method of mixing the audio output streams so as to reduce the detectability of the mixing transition events, the method including the steps of: (a) determining that a transition event is to occur; (b) determining that a masking trigger is to occur; (c) scheduling the transition event to substantially occur when the masking event occurs. Change blindness mechanism to mask changes in audio conference mix and maintain perceptual continuity.
Abstract:
A voice or video call is to be established between a caller and a callee based on a call flow that involves a call establishment request and a corresponding call acceptance response. A first call establishment request is sent to a called terminal (of the callee) that is unready to accept the call upon receiving this first call establishment request. Once the called terminal is ready to accept the call, instead of the call acceptance response, a reverse call establishment request for the call is received back from the called terminal. The reverse call establishment request is automatically accepted on behalf of the caller on condition that the reverse call establishment request was received back from the called terminal within a certain time limit. If so, the call is accepted by sending an instance of the call acceptance response to called terminal. The called terminal is unready when a client application for conducting the call is not installed in the called terminal. The client application is downloaded upon receiving the first call establishment and in order to initiate the return call.
Abstract:
Methods and systems for dialing into conference calls are presented. A meeting reminder is displayed and a conference call confirmation instruction, delay instruction, or cancellation instruction is received from a meeting attendee. Responsive to receiving a delay instruction, a delayed call-in time is established and a status message is sent to all meeting attendees. The conference call dial-in number is automatically dialed at the proposed or delayed time.

Methods, systems, apparatus including computer program products having instructions for porting numbers are provided. In one example system and method, a vPBX system can receive a request from a user to port an existing phone number to the vPBX system. The vPBX server can identify a porting authentication template, based on the requirements of an existing service provider. The vPBX server generate a fax document on the retrieved template. The vPBX server can populate the generated fax document with user information. The vPBX server can receive a user's hand signature from a touch-screen interface of a mobile device. The vPBX server can authenticate the fax document with the received signature, and transmit the authenticated fax document to the existing service provider. The vPBX server can provide the user with a temporary line number with forwarding functions until porting is completed.

Abstract:
Methods, systems, and computer program products for detecting fraudulent message service message traffic are disclosed. According to one method, message service messages are monitored. It is determined that the message service message traffic indicates that the message service message traffic is fraudulent based on detection of at least one of: 1) message service message traffic received at a first network from a second network, where the traffic includes at least one message with an SCCP calling party address internal to the first network, 2) a volume of message service message traffic received at the first network from the second network that exceeds the volume of message service message traffic sent by the first network to the second network by a threshold amount, and 3) message service message traffic that is sent to a dark number. In response to detecting fraudulent message service message traffic, a mitigating action is performed.
