The method includes determining a similarity score indicative of a similarity between the first context and a second context of the computing device, the second context including a location of the computing device at a second time that is earlier than the first time. The method also includes determining whether the similarity score satisfies a similarity threshold. The method further includes, responsive to determining the similarity score satisfies the similarity threshold: determining one or more applications that were executing at the second time and a respective state of each of the one or more applications at the second time; executing at least one of the one or more applications; and restoring the respective state of each of the at least one of the one or more applications.

Advantageously, a calling party is able to add information about a missed call to a missed call notification provided to a called party.
