Die Erfindung betrifft auch ein Verfahren zum Heißprägen eines Materials mit einem solchen Prägestempel, bei dem der Heizwiderstand auf eine Temperatur zwischen 100° C und 800° C, vorzugsweise zwischen 200° C und 600° C, besonders bevorzugt zwischen 300° C und 400° C geheizt wird Schließlich betrifft die Erfindung auch ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines solchen Prägestempels, bei dem A) ein wärmeisolierendes Substrat bereitgestellt wird, B) auf dem wärmeisolierenden Substrat eine elektrisch leitende Struktur umfassend einen Heizwiderstand aufgebracht wird, insbesondere mit einem Dickschicht-Verfahren, besonders bevorzugt aufgedruckt wird, und C) die elektrisch leitende Struktur zumindest bereichsweise mit einer elektrisch isolierenden Schicht abgedeckt wird, vorzugsweise mit einem Siebdruck-Verfahren oder einer Dickschicht-Technik.
