본 발명은 약독화된 살모넬라 변이주를 유효성분으로 포함하는 돼지 증식성 회장염 및 살모넬라증 동시 예방 또는 치료용 백신 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 로소니아 인트라셀룰라리스( Lawsonia intracellularis ) 유래 OptA, OptB, FliC 또는 Hly 항원의 분비를 증가시키도록 개발된 벡터로 약독화된 살모넬라균을 형질전환시키고 상기 형질전환된 약독화된 살모넬라 변이주 혼합물을 접종시킨 마우스에서 항원에 대한 체액성 및 세포 매개 면역 반응이 유도됨을 확인하였다. 따라서, 본 발명의 변이주는 안전하고 경제적이며 간편하게 접종할 수 있는 돼지 증식성 회장염 및 살모넬라증 동시 예방 또는 치료용 백신으로 유용하게 사용될 것으로 기대된다.

An embodiment of the chimeric protein comprises of a TLR5 agonist such as a flagellin, and a gpl20-derived peptide. The invention is also directed to methods of internalising an antigen in an antigen presenting cell, and methods of eliciting an immune response to an antigen in a subject, using the nanoparticulate carriers comprising the chimeric proteins.

Em especial tais mutantes são nulos para os genes himA e himD de IHF e foram testados quanto a atenuação da virulência e capacidade de desencadear resposta imune efetiva e protetora contra a salmonelose, em especial a salmonelose murina. Logo, a presente invenção está destinada a um processo de produção desta linhagem de mutantes atenuados, capazes de promover imunização, a vetores vacinais e vacinas para o tratamento de salmonelose e a seu uso no combate a tal infecção.
