Abstract:
Abstract:
A handle which is sized for gripping and for holding a drive tool wherein the drive-tool handle can be alternately positioned in the body of the handle for achieving varying amounts of torque. As assembly involving the handle and the drive tool.
Abstract:
A grip for a cycle includes a cylindrical liner extending along a liner axis between a first and a second end. The cylindrical liner has at least two elongate slots extending axially along a lengthwise portion of the cylindrical liner, each elongate slot overlapping a lengthwise part of another elongate slot, the overlapping elongate slots being radially offset. An over molding overlies a lengthwise of the cylindrical liner. The elongate slots are preferably disposed in a first set of at least two elongate slots extending along a first axial line in the liner and a second set of at least two elongate slots extending along a second axial line in the liner. The first and second axial lines are radially offset and the first set of elongate slots overlaps the second set of elongate slots. A first elongate slot may intercept a first end of the cylindrical liner. A compression member is provided in operative association with a circumference of an axial segment of the cylindrical liner. The axial segment includes at least a lengthwise portion of the first elongate slot. The compression member is operable between a relaxed state not compressing the axial segment and a compression segment compressing the axial segment about its circumference. The axial segment is preferably proximate the first end of the cylindrical liner.
Abstract:
A vibration dampening grip cover (10) for the handle (18) of an implement (12) is preferably of multilayer laminate form having an inner vibration dampening layer (22) and an outer gripping layer (24). A further inner force dissipating stiffening layer (26) is included in the laminate.
Abstract:
Handlebar grip for a bicycle or similar vehicles formed by a main rigid body (2) of tubular shape supporting, fixed thereon, a covering (6) of moderately soft material, in particular in gel form. Two terminal elements (8, 8') are provided at the ends (10, 10') of the grip (1), each of said elements being provided with an annular protection rim (9, 9') intended to line a corresponding end edge (20, 20') of the covering (6), and with an elastically deformable tubular lug (11, 11') which is intended to be inserted between the end section (4) of the handlebar (5) and the main body (2) remaining compressed between said elements so as to ensure gripping engagement as a result of friction thereon.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a hairbrush comprising a head region and a handle region, the handle region comprising a stem, the stem having a deformable grip located thereon.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for a handle. The invention is characterized in that it comprises a part (20) intended to be arranged at the end of a handle, referred to below as a holding part, that the holding part (20) comprises a part (22) intended to be gripped on use, referred to below as the gripping part, that said holding part is provided with organs (10, 20) capable of allowing turning of the gripping part (22) around an axis of rotation (V) in relation to the handle when the device is affixed to the handle end, the axis of rotation (V) coinciding in the main with the longitudinal direction (L) of the handle, and that the gripping part is provided with organs (34, 36) capable of increasing the friction between the holding part and the hand or a surface which the handle end is placed against.
Abstract:
A toothbrush (1) is described whose handle (4) has a special arrangement. The handle (4) includes an elongated handle arm (14) formed of a plastic having a Shore Hardness value of at least 90. A pressure pad (16) is attached to the arm (14) and formed of an elastomer having a Shore Hardness value no higher than 80. Advantageously, the elongated handle arm (14) has a recess (18) in an area adjacent to connection with the brushhead. The pressure pad (16) is arranged within the recess (18). At least one radial anti-slip structure, especially a semi-ring shape (22), protrudes from and circumscribes bottom and lateral surfaces of the arm.
Abstract:
A handgrip device configured to be removably coupled to a bicycle handlebar. The handgrip device may include a first portion that includes an opening with a center axis. The opening may be configured to receive a portion of a handle that includes a center rotational axis such that the center rotational axis is substantially aligned with the center axis of the first portion. The handgrip device may also include a second portion that is coupled to and fixed with respect to the first portion. The second portion may include a proximal end that is coupled to the first portion and a distal end that may extend away from the proximal end. The second portion may also include a first concaved side coupled between the proximal and distal ends. The first concaved side may face a first direction that is substantially perpendicular to the center axis of the first portion.
Abstract:
A resilient gripping member or medical device can. Be applied to a handle, or other gripping area of a firmer medical device to provide improved cushioning and comfort and uniformity of feel to an operator's hand during manual manipulation. The resilient gripping member or medical device may be tubular and comprise at least one control, button, switch, or sensor that communicates with another component not directly located on the firmer medical device.
