Abstract:
Abstract:
Abstract:
A hitch for connecting a movable object to a rigid rod which includes a semi-rigid main substrate including a plurality of grooves, a flexible element fixedly formed over the main substrate including a first portion for gripping a rigid rod, a clamp connected to the first portion of the flexible element. The clamp includes a lever that couples the clamp to at least one of the plurality of grooves of the main substrate such that the first portion can grip the rigid rod.
Abstract:
A manually actuated robotic tool changer includes a first housing (12) having a generally cylindrical piston (16) with a central axis partially extending from the first housing, the piston being rotatable about the axis. A plurality of tabs (18) are disposed about the circumference of a portion of the piston extending from the first housing. A second housing (14) has a bore to receive a portion of the piston. A plurality of locking lugs (42) are disposed about the bore. The tool changer is manually actuated from an unlocked position wherein the piston assumes a position with respect to the first housing such that the extending portion of the piston may be moved within the bore with the tabs moving between the locking lugs, to a locked position wherein the piston is rotated with respect to the first housing such that the tabs move beneath the locking lugs to lock the first and second housings together.
Abstract:
A coupler for an excavator, the coupler comprising first and second recesses for receiving the pins of an attachment, a latching hook movable into and out of a latching state in which it closes the second pin-receiving recess, and a blocking bar movable into and out of a blocking state in which a portion of the blocking bar closes the first recess. The arrangement is such that, when the blocking bar is engaged in use by an attachment pin contained within the first recess, the action of the pin on the blocking bar urges the blocking bar into its blocking state. The blocking bar is further arranged so that, in the blocking state, it lies in the path of the latching hook and that, upon movement of the latching hook out of the latching state, the latching hook engages with the blocking bar to retain it in the blocking state.
Abstract:
A mechanism for clamping a banjo (10) toolrest or toolrest bracket to a lathe bed (51) which makes use of a sliding cam (40) which is actuated by a drive shaft (18). The cam is supported independently of the drive shaft by a support block (12) resting on a ledge (14) which is formed in the base of the banjo. The cam is slidable with respect to the drive shaft along the length of this ledge on the banjo. This structure allows for sturdy clamping with minimal deflection at a predicable catching position along the length of the banjo rest. An eye bolt (20) is used to connect the cam to a clamping plate (22) which is positioned below two, spaced-apart rails (50) extending along the top of the lathe bed. The banjo rest has a generally open bottom (94) through which the shank of the eye bolt extends. Opposite ends of the drive shaft are rotatably supported by end walls (74, 76) of the banjo rest.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a food contact article. The food contact article includes a polymeric composition composed of a neat olefin block copolymer. The food contact article exhibits a total color change value, ΔΕ, of less than 20. The polymeric composition provides an article that is suitable for food contact application, the article having softness and stain resistance.
Abstract:
A ejector assembly, comprising: an ejector (10) with a shape of "L", being provided to rotate around an axis; a lock element (20), being provided to move along a direction substantially perpendicular to a plan of the rotation of the ejector (10); wherein the ejector (10) includes a cut-out portion (12), the lock element (12) includes an end portion (21), and the end portion (21) is provided to match with the cut-out portion (12) to prevent the ejector (10) from rotating.
