The invention relates to a wrapping apparatus, comprising: a case; a support rod detachably arranged in the case such that the support rod may support a wrapping-film roll; and a cutter unit arranged at the case so as to cut the wrapping film protruding from the case. The cutter unit comprises: a cutter rail extending from the outer surface of the case in the lengthwise direction of the case; a movable cutter coupled to the cutter rail so as to be slidable along the cutter rail; and a detachment unit for detaching the movable cutter from the cutter rail.

A film dispenser (1) has at least one housing (4) provided with a dispensing compartment (2,3) and a separating profile section (6) associated with an opening (5) in the dispensing compartment (2,3). A separating device (7) comprising at least one separating knife and a press element is moveably mounted along the separating profile section, perpendicular to a slip of film which is drawn from a roll of film (10) disposed in the dispensing compartment .In order to improve one such film dispenser such that it is easier and cheaper to construct and the drawn slip of film can be held in a better manner in order to enable cutting, the press element is embodied as a moving strip which is mounted in such a way that it can move continuously in the separating device, thereby ensuring that the slip of film adjacent to the separating knife remains tensed at least in a linear manner in the direction of displacement thereof.

An apparatus (50) and method for severing twine (46) from a bale (44) supported by one or more grapple arms (38) and bucket (34) of a tractor (30) is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a slide bar (80) mounted to at least one grapple arm, the tines (42), or the bucket. The slide bar has a first end and a second end, and a blade (82) riding on the slide bar, the blade oriented on the slide bar so that the blade contacts portion of the twine as the blade moves along the slide bar. A motor (84) coupled to the blade for controllably moving the blade along the slide bar. The motor can be a reversible dc motor controllable by a switch (150), or a hydraulic motor. The twine about the bale can be cut without the need for the farmer to leave the driver's compartment of the tractor.

The invention relates to a facility for cutting fabric comprising at least one fabric wind-off device (1, 1') for one fabric bolt (7), a conveyor belt (5) for conveying the unwound fabric, and a cutting device (3) which cuts a piece of fabric of a given shape from the length of fabric deposited on the conveyor belt (5). Said conveyor belt (5) extends without interruption from at least that point where the fabric is deposited by the wind-off device (1, 1') to the working area of the cutting device (3). The wind-off device (1, 1') places the length of fabric directly onto the conveyor belt (5) or onto one or more lengths of fabric already deposited on said conveyor belt. The invention further relates to a facility for feeding fabric and a method for cutting fabric on a cutting facility.

The actuating mechanism (18) and the drive roller are connected by a lever (23), wherein said lever (23) is in driving contact with the drive roller and is releasably connected to the actuating mechanism (18), and that the actuating mechanism (18) and the lever (23) are arranged to disconnect if the actuating mechanism (18) is subjected to a force exceeding a predetermined value.
