摘要: This description provides an autonomous or semi-autonomous excavation vehicle that is capable of navigating through a dig site and carrying an excavation routine using a system of sensors physically mounted to the excavation vehicle. The sensors collect one or more of spatial, imaging, measurement, and location data representing the status of the excavation vehicle and its surrounding environment. Based on the collected data, the excavation vehicle executes instructions to perform an excavation routine by excavating earth from a hole using an excavation tool positioned at a single location within the site. The excavation vehicle is also able to carry out numerous other tasks, such as checking the volume of excavated earth in an excavation tool, navigating the excavation vehicle over a distance while continuously excavating earth from a below surface depth, and preparing a digital terrain model of the site as part of a process for creating the excavation routine.

摘要: An implement for tilling soil has a frame, a housing plate and a plurality of shearing blades mounted to the blade housing plate in vertically spaced apart relation and oriented substantially parallel to the surface of the soil. The plurality of shearing blades is mounted to the blade housing plate and are each deflectable upon contacting an obstacle in the soil. A method is provided for decompacting a soil terrain by making a first tilling pass in a first direction with the implement for tilling soil thereby shearing the soil terrain into layers, lifting the sheared soil and allowing it to settle, and then making a second pass in a direction diagonal to the first pass.

摘要: The invention provides a ploughing tool 10 which includes at least one ripping means 12 and at least one perturbation member 14 being attached to the ripping means 12. The ripping means 12 is capable of cutting into the soil 20 up to a first level 22. The perturbation member 14 is capable of perturbating the soil 20 around the first level 22 when drawn through the soil 20 in the prescribed direction of draught 24. The ripping means 12 includes a tip 30 which faces into a direction being substantially equal to the prescribed direction of draught 24. The perturbation member 14 is located in line and behind the tip 30 such that when drawn through the soil 20 the tip 30 cuts through the soil 20 in order to assist the ripping function of the ripping means 12. The perturbation member 14 is operable on the cut soil, which includes revolving the soil during drought of the ploughing tool through the soil in an area substantially confined around the perturbation member without fully turning the soil in the area from the surface to the first level.

摘要: A disc coulter (2) reciprocates vertically (e.g., by having its centre offset by 2 mm from its axle) and horizontally (e.g., by a tilt of 0.25°). The vibration resulting from the rolling of the coulter over the ground (or by the disc being given a reverse rotation hydraulically) improves its cutting through soil and trash. The latter also tends to be guillotined between the disc and a closely placed following boot (23). This boot has two straight channels which result in vertical spacing of seed and fertiliser in the soil. The toe of the boot sits higher than the disc to ensure its riding over obstacles.
