    Abstract: A self-propelled cutting machine (100) has one cutting unit (108) positioned in front of each forward wheel (104) and one cutting unit (110) positioned behind the common transverse axis of the forward wheels (104) so that the three cutting units (108, 110) cut a single swathe.
