    Abstract: The present invention refers a system used in the mould digitalization for confection purposes, that uses a template to correct the effects of the camera lenses in the digital image. The system allows that, from a digital picture which contains the template on the same plan as of the mould, the lens distortion effects and the perspective effects can be corrected and therefore, with the image corrected, the system uses different algorithms to detect the mould contours, to split up the contour in segments and represent them by a set of straight lines and bends.
