Abstract:
An industrial brush comprises a brush body (2) having a cup-shaped containing portion (3) with a bottom wall (4) and at least one side wall (5), which together define a receiving cavity (V), a bundle (7) of filament or cable lengths (8) partly housed in the cavity (V) and externally protruding therefrom, means (10) for retaining the bundle (7) inside the cavity (V), where at least one side wall (5) of the containing portion (3) has a neck (11) of a predetermined length (L), corresponding to at least 1/3 of the length of the side wall (5) and extending towards an access opening (B) of the cavity (V) to at least partly define the retaining means (10). The side wall (5) of the containing portion (3) also comprises a plurality of longitudinal ribs (16), which are substantially parallel to the central axis (A) and angularly spaced from each other so as to define a corresponding plurality of longitudinal channels (17).
Abstract:
A paint brush and method include a ferrule extending around and in contact with a plurality of bristles and a spacer apparatus positioned to space apart the plurality of bristles to provide at least one reservoir within the plurality of bristles. The spacer apparatus defines at least one opening extending through the spacer apparatus that allows fluid passage therethrough to the at least one reservoir to assist in removal of paint from the plurality of bristles when fluid is provided therein.
Abstract:
Cosmetic oval-shaped brushes are provided which include dimensions which follow a width/height ratio of 1.4, width/ depth ratio of 2.1, and height/depth ratio of 1.5. Also disclosed is a method of use including such brushes in which two distinct motions that result in a more precise cosmetic product placement - the first step being the pressing of cosmetic product onto the skin with a dabbing or pressing motion which places cosmetic product in substantially oval-shaped cosmetic product applications (aka application portions), and the second step, namely horizontal sweeping, which paints the skin, with this sweeping being substantially along the minor axis of the oval-shaped cosmetic product applications.
Abstract:
The method for manufacturing a makeup brush includes: molding a ferrule and welding bristles to the ferrule. The ferrule includes a ferrule inner end; a ferrule outer end; a ferrule body; an interior; and a well. The well has a well base parallel to the ferrule outer end. The well base has an inner side and an outer side. The step of welding the bristles includes the steps of disposing the bristles in contact with the outer side of the well base and exposing the inner side of the well base to welding.
Abstract:
A paint tool (1), comprising a paint reservoir (2) defining an interior paint storage space (4); a nozzle (6) that is connected to the paint reservoir and that defines a passage (8) via which the interior paint storage space (4) is in fluid communication with a paint outflow opening (16) of the nozzle; and a brush (18) including a plurality of bristles (20), said brush being provided in the passage of the nozzle such that at least some bristle ends (22) protrude from the paint outflow opening. Also disclosed is a method of cutting-in, using the paint tool.
Abstract:
New model of rotative brush composed by modules, being able to use or not screws or other support means, to be used on washing machines for vehicles, which has a totally new and unpublished concept referring to its configuration, to its constitution, becoming a very practical model for maintenance, assembly and using , since due to its design and to its composition material, refers to a brush which can wash perfectly, enhancing the shine of vehicles, providing comfort and safety to users, as well as, economy, facility of using and maintenance and versatility for the operator.
Abstract:
A disposable neck duster for barbershops is disclosed. A handle unit with a cylindrical shape of multiple cross-sections in order to be held firmly by a user, wherein said handle unit encloses a cylindrical bar disposed vertically from a bottom section to a top section within said unit and is coupled with a push button at said bottom section of said unit. A dusting/head unit detachably coupled to said vertical bar of said handle unit top section. A pair of magnets configured to hold firmly said head unit metallic base when said vertical bar is being received inside said annular section. A helical spring configured to move said vertical cylindrical bar upwards when said push button is pressed in order to release/detach said dusting unit metallic base from said magnetic force of said magnets and thereby detach it from said handle unit.
Abstract:
A brush with a replaceable head includes a handle, a collar releasably coupled to the handle, and a brush head releasably coupled to the collar. The brush head may include a plurality of bristles. The collar may include an engagement member that releasably engages the brush head when the collar is coupled to the handle.
