Abstract:
A suction cleaner comprises a primary cleaner (1) and an auxiliary cleaner (2) removably attachable to the primary cleaner (1). The auxiliary cleaner (2) has a handle (13) which, when the auxiliary cleaner (2) is attached to the primary cleaner (1), constitutes a handle (13) for the primary cleaner (1).
Abstract:
A hand vacuum cleaner comprising a lightweight motor housing (10) containing a revolving brush (96). A bag assembly (12) selectively separable from the housing is sealable to the housing with an elastomeric retaining ring (32) including a sealing and retaining bead (34) received in a recessed slot area (30) of a bag attachment collar (26). A fan (66) is mounted on a motor shaft locking surface (84) including a wall portion tapering towards the fan. The shaft locks onto a mating fan bore locking surface (88). A shaft extension (90) threaded on the motor shaft (80) is urged against the fan by resistance of a belt driving a revolving brush (96) which continually tightens the shaft extension on the motor shaft. A stone shield (60) is circumferentially spaced about the fan to block items impinging against the housing from the fan from damaging the housing. The housing further includes an air deflector received in the bag assembly having end portion disposed radially inwardly from the housing outer wall whereby the deflector directs the working air to facilitate greater storage of vacuumed dirt in the bag and prevent heavy objects received in the bag from rolling back into the housing and contacting the fan. A nozzle guard (102) is mounted on a nozzle (20) including brush bearing housing retaining elements (106) disposed for an interference fit with the bearing housing (98) whereby the brush is positively retained in the nozzle.
Abstract:
The broom (1) comprises a handle (5) in the form of an elongated stick, a broom body (4) fixed below to the handle, cleaning means (6) born by the broom body and designed to collect dirt on a floor after dragging of the broom body on said floor. It is characterised in that it comprises a vacuum cleaner unit housed in the broom body provided with a suction mouth (16) open at the bottom in a position adjacent to the cleaning means.
Abstract:
Vacuum cleaner including a unit, comprising an electric motor and an associated suction fan, and a suction nozzle (36) connected to the inlet side of the unit via a dust separating device (15), either directly or via a connectable rigid conduit (13). The vacuum cleaner comprises a handheld unit (10) which when not in use is arranged to be positioned on a stationary storage unit (11), said handheld unit (10) incorporating the said unit and the dust separating device (15) and being provided with a coupling means (12) for connecting of the rigid conduit (13). For power supply purposes, by means of an extensible flex (26), the handheld unit (10) is connected to the storage unit (11) which via an additional flex (39) is connectable to a mains outlet.
Abstract:
A vacuum cleaner system having a hand-held unit (10), a vacuum cleaner nozzle (14) connected to the hand-held unit (10), a suction hose (16) extending from the hand-held unit (10), and a vacuum source (18) provided at the end of the suction hose (16) which is remote from the hand-held unit. The end of the suction hose is connected to an air cleaner (20). The air cleaner (20) is provided with means (23, 24) for alternatively or commonly cleaning the ambient air and/or the air from the suction hose (16).
Abstract:
A device including an impermeable glove (1) combined with a sponge (2) and provided with an air suction duct (3) with open-ended branches (30), and a portable air suction power unit (60) connected to the duct (3) by tubing (300). The power unit includes an interchangeable inlet filter (51), a suction unit between the filter and a filtered air outlet (55), a fan driving motor and a battery with an external adjustment control (58), said tubing (300) being connected to the filter inlet and attached to the user's clothes by releasable fasteners (5). When used for cleaning surfaces using volatile solvents which give off undesirable vapours, the device sucks in the vapours in the immediate vicinity of where they are produced, retains them and filters them out before releasing the filtered air into the atmosphere.
Abstract:
The invention consists of an eraser crumb suction device. There are two embodiments of the device. The first includes a rotary-driven eraser stick (32) driven by a motor (24) which also drives a fan (18). A suction tube (12) surrounds the eraser and leads to a container (14) for collecting the crumbs. In the container (14) is a baffle (16) for removing crumbs from the air flow leading to the fan (18) in its enclosure (20) which has outwardly-directed exhaust openings (22). The second embodiment comprises a holder (52) for an eraser mounted parallelly with a suction tube (54) which leads to a collecting container (60) with baffle (62). An inlet pipe (66) connects container (60) to fan enclosure (68) containing a fan (64) driven by a DC motor (72) driven by batteries in an adjacent battery compartment (76). The device is configured to be held in the manner of a writing pen. A brush (56) is mounted adjacent the inlet of the suction tube (54).
Abstract:
A vacuum is described which includes a housing (2) having first, second, and third openings, a vacuum motor (5) connected to the first opening of the housing (2), an elongated tube (1) connected by one end to the second opening of the housing (2), and a receptacle (3) removably connected to the third opening of the housing (2). The vacuum is useful for the removal and disposal of animal feces (14).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a vacuum cleaner with a motor-suction unit and a cable drum (28), in which the motor-suction unit can be removed from a base section (3) for use as a manual device (2) and the cable drum (28) is fitted in the base section (3). In order to improve the handling of a vacuum cleaner of the type in question, it is proposed that the base section (3) be mobile and that the motor-suction unit be completely detachable from said base section (3).
Abstract:
A suction cleaner comprises a primary cleaner (1) and an auxiliary cleaner (2). The primary cleaner (1) includes a fan (11) for sucking in air, and an air channel (6, 7, 9) disposed upstream of the fan for directing sucked air through the primary cleaner. The auxiliary cleaner (2) includes a dust collection chamber (20) and is attachable to the primary cleaner (1) with the dust collection chamber connected to the air channel (6, 7, 9) such that, in use, dust within the dust collection chamber is drawn into the air channel for collection.
