Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and system for estimating blood pressure of a subject. In particular, but not exclusively, the method involves receiving a photoplethysmogram (PPG) signal from a light-based Pulse-Plethysmography sensor applied to the skin of a subject and reconstructing a pulse blood pressure waveform between systolic and diastolic blood pressure of the subject. Additionally, but not exclusively, the method involves processing the pulse blood pressure waveform and reconstructing an absolute blood pressure waveform of the subject.

Abstract: 本发明公开了一种基于3D CNN的无接触面部血压测量方法,属于计算机视觉技术领域。一种基于3D CNN的无接触面部血压测量方法,包括如下步骤:S110:采集实际的人脸视频样本,利用3D CNN神经网络训练一个血压预测模型;S120:通过高清摄像头实时获取人脸视频;S130:通过dlib人脸识别模型识别S120中获取的人脸视频中的人脸关键点,选取面部感兴趣区域,从该区域中提取人脸图像;S140:对S130中提取得到的人脸图像进行小波变换操作,从而去除噪声;S150:将连续7帧的人脸图像输入到S110中训练好的3D CNN血压预测模型中,获取被测人的血压值;本发明实现了捕捉空间和时间维度特征的非接触的面部血压测量并且提高了血压测量精度。

Abstract: The present invention relates to systems for sensing a subject's ear canal barometric pressure, said systems comprising at least one sensor device comprising an in-ear plug for arrangement in the subject's ear canal, the sensor device being configured to provide sensor information comprising a barometric pressure level enclosed by the in-ear plug and the subject's ear canal; an evaluation device coupled to the at least one sensor device for evaluating the sensor information provided by the sensor device, the evaluation device being configured to determine a time course of the barometric pressure and, based on the time course of the barometric pressure, to determine a contraction of the tensor tympani muscle of the subject; and an interaction device coupled to the evaluation device, the interaction device being configured to provide means of explicit input to at least one computing device based on the determined contraction of the tensor tympani muscle of the subject. The present invention further relates to respective methods of providing explicit input to at least one computing device, as well as respective uses.

Abstract: The invention provides an IV system for monitoring a patient that is positioned on the patient's body. The IV system includes: 1) a catheter that inserts into the patient's venous system; 2) a pressure sensor connected to the catheter that measures physiological signals indicating a pressure in the patient's venous system; 3) a motion sensor that measures motion signals; and 4) a processing system that: i) receives the physiological signals from the pressure sensor; ii) receives the motion signals from the motion sensor; iii) processes the motion signals by comparing them to a pre-determined threshold value to determine when the patient has a relatively low degree of motion; and iv) process the physiological signals to determine a physiological parameter when the processing system determines that the motion signals are below the pre-determined threshold value.
