Abstract:
A gaming system provides a game to one or more players and includes a ball lottery machine. The ball lottery machine includes a frame, a lottery ball field, an image projection unit, and a control unit. The lottery ball field has a rotating field. The rotating field includes a plurality of ball pockets spaced on the rotating field. The ball pockets are configured to receive a lottery ball. The rotating field is rotatably coupled to the frame. The image projection unit is coupled to the frame and is configured to project a rotating image into an upper surface of the rotating field. The control unit is configured to establish a rate of rotation associated with the rotating field and to responsively control a rate of rotation of the rotating image using the image projection unit.
Abstract:
An aspect of the present invention is a fusion of roulette and mahjong. A version of the game may feature a roulette wheel assembly (11), which interacts with at least one ball so as to randomly select mahjong symbols. A version of the roulette wheel assembly (11) may comprise (42) circumferentially-aligned mahjong tiles respectively associated with ball-receiving sectors (12). In yet another embodiment the wheel comprises (144) ball-receiving sectors (12). A further embodiment makes use of four separate roulette wheels, each having (36) ball-receiving sectors. Examples of various possible pay-out tables are provided in figure (17). Further versions of the game include the provision of progressive jackpots and/or mystery jackpots.
Abstract:
The invention is used for reliably automatically identifying a roulette winning sector and is characterised in that a colour video camera (1) is placed on the top part of a board (5) and is oriented towards the roulette wheel (2), a signal which is emitted by said video camera (1) and contains video data about the roulette wheel including the area of the ring of cells (3) is converted into a digital form, transmitted to a data processing device (6) and is analysed for determining the winning number and displaying the result on the board (5).
Abstract:
A combination craps and roulette game includes: a game surface (102), the game surface having indicia thereon for displaying bets (104); and a wheel (106) having a plurality of slots corresponding to a face of at least one die, the wheel also having means for retaining and directing a rolled ball such that the rolled ball comes to rest in one of the plurality of slots. Each of the plurality of slots preferably corresponds to each of a possible combination of faces of a pair of dice and a lot corresponding to the number zero. More preferably, the plurality of slots are color coded based on the combination of faces of the pair of dice to which it corresponds. The wheel is also provided independent of the game surface. A mini-roulette game is also provided which makes use of the wheel of the present invention.
