Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of producing footwear. The footwear has an upper and an outsole with an upraised portion, such as a toe bumper or a heel bumper. The method uses a mould comprising a last, upon which the upper is arranged, an upper mould part divided into two side parts being laterally movable in relation to a lower mould part between a first and second position, and the lower mould part being vertically movable in relation to the upper mould part between a third and fourth position. The method comprises the following steps: - placing the outsole 3 in a lower mould part 4 of a mould, - placing an upper 2 in a cavity of the mould,- moving at least one side part 5 against the other side part 5 from a first to a second position whereby the two side parts abut the upper 2, - injecting a composition into the space 12 in order to connect the outsole to the upper and to make a midsole 9, and moving the lower mould part 4 towards the upper 2 from a third to a fourth position so that a tip 8 of the upraised portion 7 is pressed towards the upper 2 by a control surface 13 of the side parts 5 so that a space is maintained between the upper and upraised portion 7 of the outsole 3.
Abstract:
A skate includes a boot for receiving a wearer's foot and ankle therein, boot having a boot upper fixed to an outsole. The boot upper includes a vamp for covering a front portion of the foot, first and second quarters connected to the vamp for covering sides of the foot, an instep portion connected to the vamp and quarters for at least partly covering a top portion of the foot, and a rear portion connected to the quarters for covering a rear portion of the foot and ankle. At least the instep portion and part of the rear portion are made of a first material, and the first and second quarters are made of a different, second material. The second material is more rigid than the first material.
Abstract:
A mold holder for molds for manufacturing boots or the like made of plastics, which comprises a footing (10) for supporting a mold (11), with an upper closure cover articulated to the footing (10) and with a front door (14) for soles which is rotatable about an axis (15) which is longitudinal with respect to the mold. The door (14) is composed of a transverse frame (17) which is supported by the footing (10), is rotatable about the longitudinal axis (15) and is arranged below the surface that supports the mold. The frame (17) supports at least one sole support (22) which is pivoted so as to rotate about a corresponding axis (21) which lies outside the front dimensions of the mold (11).
Abstract:
The invention relates to an improved system (1) for production of foamed' plastic material products, such as EVA, particularly soles or other products with lightness and comfort features, said system providing a plurality of mol support elements, movable to move in correspondence of a plurality of stations (2), provided along a closed circuit path, one of said stations being a material injection station, said system being characterised in that at least one of said stations being an withdrawal /introduction station (2') of a mold support (3), said mold supports being removably coupled with the system, to b withdrawn/ introduced in the system in correspondence of said withdrawal/introduction station.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A method for molding thin parts made of single-component polyurethane plastics consisting in depositing on the lower part (118) of the mold (116), while the mold (116) is at least partially open, the fluid plastic material in the various regions in an amount which is proportional to the width of the impression, and subsequently, closing the mold (116), compressing the fluid material, and allowing the system to cool.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A method of insert molding comprises placing in a first mold a curable rubber composition comprising a reactive species; placing on a surface of the rubber composition a first thermoplastic material in a film or layer comprising a group reactive with the reactive species of the rubber composition; curing the rubber composition in the mold to form a first molded article of cured rubber having a first thermoplastic material layer covalently bonded through reactive of the reactive species and the group; placing the first molded article as an insert into a second mold, the cured rubber contacting an inside surface of the second mold and the thermoplastic layer facing into the second mold cavity; closing the second mold and injecting into the second mold a second thermoplastic material that to form a second molded article comprising the first molded article thermally welded and/or covalently bonded to the second thermoplastic material.
Abstract:
Method for the production, by means of injection/casting directly onto an upper (32), of a shoe formed at least by one sole part (50; 79) and an upper (32), where the former overlaps in an overlapping area (53) the toe (40) and/or the heel of the latter. The upper (32) is enclosed inside a first mould (36) which grips it at the edges leaving at least one zone (39) of the toe (40) and/or the heel thereof exposed and which defines a first cavity (49; 81) where the sole is formed. A second mould (46; 72) in the form of a single-piece block comprising a second cavity (48, 74a, 74b) is coupled to the first mould (36) so as to form the first cavity (49; 81) and so as to introduce the exposed zone (39) of the upper (32) into the second cavity (48, 74a, 74b). A mould and a machine as well as the shoes which may be made with them are also claimed.
Abstract:
A process for manufacturing a sole for shoes composed of a tread sole made of vulcanised rubber provides, for the vulcanizable rubber, a mixture composed of a vulcanizable nitrile rubber (NBR), at least one hydroxyl acrylic resin, at least one hydrocarbon resin, at least one reinforcing filler, and at least one vulcanization accelerator. A dosed amount of the mixture is introduced in a first mold cavity (2), in which the bottom is constituted by a piston (12), which is kept at a temperature of 100-200 DEG C, while in an upper region there is a dummy last (8), which is also kept at a temperature of 100-200 DEG C, the two temperatures being adjustable independently of each other. After preparing the tread sole in this manner, the sole bottom, supported by the piston, descends and forms an additional cavity into which the two-component polyurethane is injected. The vulcanizable rubber with the mixture adopted has many free bonds, which combine with the polyurethane, giving rise to a very strong coupling.
