摘要: La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé de fabrication d'un article biodégradable comprenant les étapes suivantes : a) fourniture d'un mélange de poudre présentant une granulométrie comprise entre 2 et 4 mm et un taux d'humidité compris entre 10 % et 25 %, b) mise en forme dudit mélange au moyen d'une presse pour appliquer une pression comprise entre 50 et 90 Tonnes sur le mélange pour obtenir un mélange mis en forme, l'étape b) de mise en forme étant réalisée à une température comprise entre 150 et 180 °C; c) cuisson à une température comprise entre 150 °C et 250 °C dudit mélange mis en forme pour former l'article biodégradable.

摘要: Es wird ein Verfahren zur lösungsmittelfreien Herstellung einer Elektrode bereitgestellt. Durch das Verfahren ist eine Elektrode herstellbar, die eine hohe mechanische Stabilität aufweist und die eine hohe spezifische Kapazität bereitstellt. Das Verfahren ermöglicht zudem die Herstellung einer Elektrode, die als Anode in einer Lithium-Ionen-Batterie verwendet werden kann, ohne dass es zu einem instabilen Betrieb mit unerwünschten und irreversiblen Degradationsreaktionen kommt. Es wird zudem eine Elektrode bereitgestellt, welche die oben genannten Vorteile aufweist. Darüber hinaus werden Verwendungen der erfindungsgemäßen Elektrode vorgeschlagen.

摘要: A method is provided for fabricating a unitary element, such as an exercise weight, including a composite material. The method includes providing a plurality of solid fragments including at least one non-thermoplastic material. The method further includes providing a plurality of solid particles including at least one thermoplastic polymer and/or elastomer material, at least 75% of the solid fragments having sizes in a fragment size range from zero to 32 millimeters and at least 75% of the solid particles having sizes in a particle size range from zero to 1.5 millimeters. The method further includes forming a mixture of the plurality of solid fragments and the plurality of solid particles, the mixture including 90% to 20% of the fragments by volume and 10% to 80% of the particles by volume. The method further includes molding or extruding the mixture into a unitary element through the application of heat and/or pressure.

摘要: A storage vessel can include a shell that is formed by fibers wound about an axis and infused with a resin matrix. The resin matrix can include metal nanoparticles coated with a polymer and distributed within a resin. The nanoparticles provide low coefficients of thermal expansion, and the polymer coatings enhance their bonding with the resin The shells of such storage vessels provide increased tensile strength and modulus at both room and cryogenic temperatures. Such improvements stem from the higher interfacial residual thermal stress at cryogenic temperature due to their low thermal expansion properties, which in turn promotes crack branching that increases the energy dissipation of the matrix.

An active light valve cooling system is arranged to remove heat from the light valve and a heat exchanger is connected to the active light valve cooling system. A heat exchange fluid is circulated through the active light valve cooling system and the heat exchanger.
