摘要: A method for forming a structural tile for use in a composite panel includes providing a base plate of a compression mold assembly. The method also includes placing a grid structure mold of the compression mold assembly atop the base plate. The grid structure mold defines a cavity having a desired shape for a grid structure. Further, the method includes filling the cavity of the grid structure mold with a plurality of fragments of recycled fiber reinforced polymer material. Moreover, the method includes placing a cover plate of the compression mold assembly atop the grid structure mold to apply pressure to the grid structure mold. The method also includes applying heat to the cover plate to heat the plurality of fragments of recycled fiber reinforced polymer material such that the recycled fiber reinforced polymer material melts within the cavity. In addition, the method includes allowing the melted recycled fiber reinforced polymer material to cure to form the structural tile.

摘要: La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé de fabrication d'un article biodégradable comprenant les étapes suivantes : a) fourniture d'un mélange de poudre présentant une granulométrie comprise entre 2 et 4 mm et un taux d'humidité compris entre 10 % et 25 %, b) mise en forme dudit mélange au moyen d'une presse pour appliquer une pression comprise entre 50 et 90 Tonnes sur le mélange pour obtenir un mélange mis en forme, l'étape b) de mise en forme étant réalisée à une température comprise entre 150 et 180 °C; c) cuisson à une température comprise entre 150 °C et 250 °C dudit mélange mis en forme pour former l'article biodégradable.

摘要: Transparent articles and methods of producing transparent articles are provided. The transparent article includes hydrophobic nanoparticles dispersed within poly(methyl methacrylate). The method of producing transparent articles includes pouring a transparent article precursor into a mold, the transparent article precursor comprising nanoparticles, a solvent, and a polymer, and the mold comprising a flat surface. The method also includes placing the mold into a container having an adjustable opening and allowing the solvent to evaporate from the transparent article precursor, thereby forming the transparent article over the flat surface of the mold. The method further includes flattening the transparent article, in which flattening the transparent article includes positioning a flat article on a first side of the transparent article, and compressing the transparent article between the flat surface and the flat article.

摘要: Es wird ein Verfahren zur lösungsmittelfreien Herstellung einer Elektrode bereitgestellt. Durch das Verfahren ist eine Elektrode herstellbar, die eine hohe mechanische Stabilität aufweist und die eine hohe spezifische Kapazität bereitstellt. Das Verfahren ermöglicht zudem die Herstellung einer Elektrode, die als Anode in einer Lithium-Ionen-Batterie verwendet werden kann, ohne dass es zu einem instabilen Betrieb mit unerwünschten und irreversiblen Degradationsreaktionen kommt. Es wird zudem eine Elektrode bereitgestellt, welche die oben genannten Vorteile aufweist. Darüber hinaus werden Verwendungen der erfindungsgemäßen Elektrode vorgeschlagen.
