Abstract:
A dispenser package including a stack of flexible sheets adhered together by layers of pressure sensitive adhesive with first and second ends of successive sheets in the stack adjacent; and an enclosure in which the stack of sheets is arched having top wall portions defining a slot transverse of the top of the arched stack of sheets. The first end portion of the uppermost sheet on the stack projects through the slot and when it is pulled through the slot, it will carry with it the first end portion of the next underlying sheet and leave it projecting through the slot. The enclosure is separable to afford inserting a new stack of sheets into the chamber.
Abstract:
A tape or sheet dispenser, for accomodating and supplying tapes or sheets (3, 13), comprising a bottom section (1, 11) and wing sections (2, 12) formed on both sides of the bottom section (1, 11). The tape or sheet dispenser has an approximately flat C-shaped configuration.
Abstract:
Pads for posting removable adhesive sheets capable of receiving markings are disclosed. The pads comprise a stack of a plurality of adhesive sheets having release sheets adhered to the back of each, wherein each adhesive sheet, when applied to a surface, is removable without leaving an adhesive residue. The adhesive sheets comprise a flexible polymer film, polymer-reinforced sheet or cloth having a Taber stiffness of not less than 0.03 measured according to ASTM D747, a front side capable of receiving markings and a back side substantially covered with a pressure sensitive adhesive having an initial tack value of at least 200 g measured acording to ASTM D2979 on a Polyken probe tack tester, an adhesive tack sufficient to prevent conformability failure of the adhesive sheet after 10 hours conformability testing, and an adhesive strength of at least 100 N/m according to ASTM D1000 and each release sheet covers at least 50 percent of the pressure sensitive adhesive on the back of each adhesive sheet. A process for making such pads and a kit for dispensing adhesive sheet/release sheet combinations are also disclosed. The pads, processes and kits of this invention are useful for posting robust temporary and semi-permanent removable notes in an industrial or commercial setting.
Abstract:
A centrally tabbed adhesive tape strip pad (20) and centrally tabbed adhesive tape flag pad in which the centrally positioned pull tab portion of the leader strip (60) facilitates initiation of dispensing without the use of prethreaded leader bands and facilitates insertion of a new pad into typical refillable dispensers.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a note pad (1) comprising a stack of pieces of paper (12, 14, 16, 18, 20) which are connected along a rear edge (3) by strips of adhesive, for example. At least one first piece of paper (12, 14, 16, 18, 20), whose fibres (32, 34, 36, 38, 40) run parallel to the edge, and at least one second piece of paper (13, 15, 17, 19), whose fibres run transversely to the edge (3), follow one other in succession in the stack. The invention further concerns a method of producing such a note pad.
Abstract:
A pad assembly comprising a multiplicity of flexible sheets each having a band of repositionable pressure sensitive adhesive coated on its rear surface adjacent and spaced by a small predetermined spacing from a first edge. The sheets are disposed in a stack with the band of repositionable pressure sensitive adhesive on each sheet adhering it to the adjacent sheet in the stack; and a layer of padding compound is disposed over and adhered to aligned first edges of the sheets in the stack. The padding compound allows, after the band of repositionable pressure sensitive adhesive on the rear surface of one of the sheets in the stack is separated from the front surface of the adjacent sheet in the stack, that one sheet (and any sheets above it) to be pivoted away from that adjacent sheet while remaining adhered to the adjacent sheets. The small predetermined spacing between the band of repositionable pressure sensitive adhesive and the first edge of each sheet provides a tactile feel when the band of repositionable pressure sensitive adhesive on the rear surface of one of the sheets in the stack separates from the front surface of the adjacent sheet in the stack that signals the person peeling the sheet away that such separation has occurred, and allows that person to reduce the force he is applying to the sheet, thereby restricting inadvertent separation of that sheet from the padding compound. After a sheet is intentionally separated from the padding compound, the band of repositionable pressure sensitive adhesive on the sheet affords adhesion of that sheet to a vertical surface.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a block of sheets, comprising first (1), second (2) and third (3) stacks of sheets and a flexible connecting sheet (31) having opposite first and second major surfaces, each of said first (1), second (2) and third (3) stack consisting of sheets (12) being connected to each other and having opposite front (12a) and back (12b) major surfaces, and said sheets being stacked back major surface to front major surface, and each of said first (1), second (2) and third (3) stack having an opposite first (10a) and second (10b) side, said first side displaying a front major surface of a sheet and said second side displaying a back major surface of a sheet, at least part of said second side of said first stack (1) being attached to said first major surface of said flexible connecting sheet (31) and at least a part of said second side of said second stack (2) being attached to said second major surface of said flexible connecting sheet (31), said first (1) and second (2) stack being positioned with their second sides in a face to face relationship and at least a part of said second side of said third stack (3) being attached to said first major surface of said flexible connecting sheet (31) opposite to said first stack and spaced away therefrom thereby defining a hinge portion (32, 53, 63, 73) allowing said third stack (3) to be positioned in a first configuration with the first side of said third stack (3) facing the first side of said first stack (1) or in a second configuration with the second side of said third stack (3) facing the first side of said second stack (2).
Abstract:
A notebook or similar paper element comprises a plurality of bound pages (2), a first page (3) provided with a limited-friction surface, with the function of supporting and serving as a computer "mouse" pad, and a second page (4) prepared with a non-slip surface (4a) located on an extremity of the plurality of pages; the first page being arranged with cited controlled-friction surface opposite to the non-slip surface of the second page.
Abstract:
A dispenser package (10) including a stack of flexible sheets (12) adhered together by layers of pressure sensitive adhesive (22), with first and second ends of successive sheets (14) in the stack (12) adjacent; and an enclosure in which the stack (12) of sheets (14) is positioned having top wall portions with spaced opposed surfaces that define a wide slot. The first end portion of the uppermost sheet on the stack (12) projects through the slot and rests against the adjacent first abutment surface. As that uppermost sheet (14) is pulled through the slot, successive portions of it will peel away from the first underlying sheet (14) in the stack (12) until it contacts the second abutment surface, whereupon the first end portion of the first underlying sheet (14) separates from the second underlying sheet (14), the first end portion of the first underlying sheet folds and moves through the slot with the second end portion of the uppermost sheet to leave, after the uppermost sheet (14) is fully peeled from the first portion of the first underlying sheet (14), the first end portion of the first underlying sheet in a position projecting through the slot and resting against the second abutment surface in a position where it too may be grasped for manual removal in a similar manner.
