A continuous process for making a multi-panel sterilization assembly, the process including the steps of: providing a moving, continuous base web; providing a plurality of subassemblies; applying the subassemblies in position on the moving, continuous base web to define repeating portions that incorporate the subassemblies and alternating portions that lack such subassemblies; providing side tabs; applying the side tabs in position on the moving, continuous base web with respect to at least one edge of the portions that incorporate the subassemblies; attaching the subassemblies and the side tabs to the moving, continuous base web to form a continuous work-piece; and separating the continuous work-piece into individual multi-panel sterilization assemblies, each multi-panel sterilization assembly comprising a barrier panel, a fold protection panel and at least one side tab.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Rolle (R) für einen Drucker zum Bedrucken von Druckmaterial (D), welches an seiner der zu bedruckenden Seite (DD) abgewandten Seite (D R ) bereichsweise mit einem klebenden oder haftenden Material (K) beschichtet oder beschichtbar ist, wobei die Rolle (R) zum Transport des Druckmaterials oder zum Andrücken des Druckmaterials gegen einen Druckkopf oder Druckwalze (DKW) dient, und die Rolle (R) mindestens einen Andruckbereich (BA) aufweist und der Andruckbereich (BA) zur Anlage und Andrücken an das Druckmaterial (D) dient, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Andruckbereich (BA) oder die Andruckbereiche zusammen eine Breite (B BA ) aufweist bzw. aufweisen, die kleiner ist als die Breite (B D ) des Druckmaterials (D).

Ballistic resistiint fabric laminates are provided. More particularly, reinforced, delamination resistant, ballistic resistant composites are provided. The delamination resistant, ballistic resistant materials and articles may be reinforced by various techniques, including stitching one or more ballistic resistant panels with a high strength thread, melting the edges of a ballistic resistant panel to reinforce areas that may have been frayed during standard trimming procedures, wrapping one or more panels with one or more woven or non- woven fibrous wraps, and combinations of these techniques. The delamination resistant, ballistic resistant pane Is may further include at least one rigid plate attached thereto for improving ballistic resistance performance.

Abstract:
A pinseam press fabric is smoothed in the area of the seam by depositing polyurethane particles having a size of about 1 to 500 micrometers across the seam of the felt defined by the ends of the fabric. The polyurethane particles are drawn into the seam end by the application of a vacuum. Once the particles are deposited, the fabric is heated so that the polyurethane particles melt to form a polymeric matrix.
Abstract:
A non-intrusive portable safety seal to collect human organic remnants in order to obtain DNA and genetic patterns of fingerprints is provided. The proposed seal comprises four related basic components: a sheet of paper or base (2) forming a triptych, which serves to support the entire set, an adhesive-covered central sheet (5) bearing a safety seal on the front surface, a two-surfaced sheet (9) with adhesive on both surfaces and a graphite or granulated sheet (6) adheres to it. In addition, the seal has two adhesive-covered safety flaps (3) that protect the entire set. An alternative seal comprises a base sheet that is able to receive four fingerprints of four fingers, containing a fifth separation sheet between the graphite or granulated sheet and the two-surfaced adhesive layer.

The present invention concerns a length or roll of tape (11) that has been designed to be easily removed. The tape (11) has a substrate or film on which two opposingly located adhesive sections (12, 14) are formed. A non-adhesive section (16) is also located on the substrate between the adhesive sections (12, 14). The non-adhesive section (16) forms a graspable handle (18) at one end of the substrate which makes the tape easier to remove. The invention may also comprise a single adhesive (52) and a non-adhesive section (58) which forms a graspable handle (60). In addition, the non-adhesive section (58) may be substituted with a low strength adhesive section as well.
