Le véhicule (1) comprend : - un châssis (2) comportant une traverse (20) sensiblement médiane; - deux trains roulants (4) comportant chacun une roue avant (5) et une roue arrière (6), un bras (42) lié à l'axe de chaque roue étant monté sur une pièce de liaison (50) en pivotement autour d'un axe de pivotement (A) vertical ou incliné, la pièce de liaison étant montée sur la traverse; - un siège (3) monté de façon rotative par rapport au châssis autour d'un axe longitudinal (A3), avec rappel au neutre; - quatre organes de couplage (70), chacun reliant le siège et l'un des bras lié à l'axe d'une roue, de sorte que la rotation du siège par rapport au châssis entraîne le pivotement de chaque roue autour de l'axe de pivotement (A); le véhicule (1) étant dépourvu d'essieux.

A seat assembly for use in an automotive vehicle includes a seat back pivotally coupled to a seat cushion and at least one link pivotally coupled between the seat cushion and a seat base. A detent assembly is rotatably coupled to the seat base, the detent assembly actuatable between a use condition for operatively coupling the at least one link and the detent assembly, and an override condition for decoupling the at least one link and the detent assembly. A linkage motor is operatively engaged with the detent assembly for pivoting the at least one link to move the seat assembly between a plurality of positions. Actuation of the detent assembly from the use condition to the override condition allows for manual pivoting of the at least one link to move the seat assembly between the plurality of positions in situations where the linkage motor is unable to be actuated.

A seat assembly includes a four-bar linkage for providing movement of the seat assembly between a plurality of positions in an automotive vehicle. The four-bar linkage includes front and rear links which simultaneously rotate to move the seat assembly between an easy entry position in which the seat assembly tilts forwardly and downwardly toward a floor of the automotive vehicle to allow ingress and egress behind the seat assembly, a stow position in which a seat cushion lowers toward the floor of the automotive vehicle and a seat back pivots toward and overlaps the seat cushion, and an intermediate design position in which the seat cushion is spaced from the floor of the automotive vehicle and the seat back is disposed generally upright to support an occupant. The seat assembly is capable of moving directly between the easy entry and stow positions without needing to intermediately return to the design position.

The application provides a seat adjustment module for a seat of a vehicle. The seat adjustment module includes a microphone unit, a processor module, and seat adjustment unit. The microphone unit is provided for receiving a user spoken seat adjustment comment and for generating a corresponding signal data. The processor module is adapted for converting the signal data to a corresponding a seat adjustment comment text and for converting the seat adjustment comment text to at least one seat adjustment command. The seat adjustment unit is adapted for adjusting the seat according to the seat adjustment command.

Problem at hand: When transporting a passenger seated in a wheelchair in the back of an automobile, the rear seats may need to be stowed or removed to accommodate the wheelchair such that the automobile loses seating capacity. Solution to the problem: A device (1) for positioning the rear seat (2) of an automobile comprising at least two opposite side brackets (3) for mounting the seat (2) to the floor (4), each bracket (3) being equipped with at least one retaining pin (7) for locking it to the lock (5) of the seat (2), further comprising at least one post (6) arranged under the seat (2) between the brackets (3) and secured to the floor (2) which is also equipped with at least one retaining pin (7) for locking it to the lock (5) of the seat (2). The post (6) is equipped with a means for positioning the retaining pin (7) forward and backward, while the retaining pins (7) in the brackets (3) are movable forward and backward, while the retaining pins (7) can be locked at least in the extreme positions forward and backward.

A suspension system (30) for a mobile machine (12) is disclosed. The suspension system may have a seat (26) operatively connected to a cabin floor (28) of the mobile machine, a cylinder (44) connected between the seat and the cabin floor, and a spring (46) associated with the cylinder. The suspension system may also have at least one valve (52) configured to regulate fluid flow into and out of the cylinder, and a controller in communication with the at least one valve. The controller (54) may be configured to detect a failure condition of the suspension system. In response to detection of the failure condition, the controller may be further configured to cause the at least one valve to move to a default position at which fluid flow into and out of the cylinder is restricted by an amount that still allows fluid flow through the at least one valve.

Described are adjustable seats including an upper frame with a pair of support arms, a lower frame with a pair of support legs, and a coupling system with an upper rod and a lower rod. As examples, the upper rod and the lower rod are pivotally coupled to each of the pair of support arms and the pair of support legs. A linear actuator is coupled to the upper frame, and a track is coupled to the lower frame, wherein the linear actuator is configured to travel along the track. The linear actuator may comprise a first end and a second end, wherein the first end is coupled to a coupling location on the lower frame and the second end is coupled to a coupling location on the coupling system.
