A tire dressing composition is provided that includes petroleum distillates in which a polybutene or isobutene/butene copolymer is dissolved to form a clear solution. In the water- based approach, the polybutene or isobutene/butene copolymer was emulsified by a surfactant. A wetting agent is also present in the composition to render the composition sel-flevelling. The sprayable tire dressing composition provides a high gloss and good wettability to a tire surface that develops a uniform coating on the treated tire surface.

The application relates to a coating composition. The coating composition comprises at least the components: a first component that comprises polytetrafluoroethylene or a derivative thereof, a silicone-based substance or a substance having a low coefficient of friction, a siloxane-based component and a binder component that comprises a polymer dispersion of styrene acrylate. In addition, the application relates to a method for forming a coating and to use, e.g. in the treatment of an outer surface of a boat or blades of a wind turbine.

Compositions for coating food, beverage, and consumer product containers. Compositions and methods for coating the surfaces of beverage, food, consumer good and packaging-related materials containers are disclosed. The disclosed compositions employ butadiene polymers as a component of non-volatile component, thus avoiding the use of bisphenol A and related compounds, which are asserted by some researchers to be potentially harmful to human health. The coating compositions may be used on a wide variety of containers, ranging from small plastic containers, beverage cans, canned food containers, and multi-gallon drums and canisters.
