Abstract: The present invention relates to a solid composition comprising a matrix and one or more actives, said matrix comprising steramide or poly(vinyl alcohol) having a melting point higher than 150°C. It also relates to a cage and to a product comprising said solid composition and said cage, wherein said solid composition is contained in said cage. It further relates to a product comprising said solid composition and a porous solid support, wherein said solid composition is attached to said porous solid support. It further relates to a method for the controlled release of one or more actives in an automatic washing operation by providing said solid composition or any of the products to the machine in which said automatic washing operation is performed.

Abstract: A fabric care composition comprising a plurality of particles comprising: an agent selected from perfume, fabric softener active, cationic polymer, dye transfer inhibitor, malodor control agent, and mixtures thereof; 0-3 wt% plasticizer polyol; 1-20 wt% water; 45-80 wt% sugar alcohol polyol selected from the group consisting of erythritol, xylitol, mannitol, isomalt, maltitol, lactitol, trehalose, lactose, tagatose, sucralose, and mixtures thereof; wherein said particles further comprise: a. modified starch having a dextrose equivalent from 15 to 20 at a weight ratio of said sugar alcohol polyol to said modified starch from 2:1 to 16:1; or b. modified starch having a dextrose equivalent from 4 to less than 15 at a weight ratio of said sugar alcohol polyol to said modified starch from 1.5:1 to 16:1; wherein said fabric care active agent, said water, and said sugar alcohol polyol are dispersed in said modified starch. A process for treating laundry.

Method of cleaning dishware using the cleaning product comprising the steps of (a) optionally pre-wetting the dishware, (b) spraying the cleaning composition onto the dishware, (c) optionally scrubbing the dishware and (d) rinsing the dishware.
