Abstract: Gezeigt wird ein Filtermaterial zur Herstellung eines Segments für einen Rauchartikel, wobei das Filtermaterial wasserstrahlverfestigt ist und mindestens 50% und höchstens 100% Cellulosefasern, jeweils bezogen auf die Masse des Filtermaterials, enthält, wobei das Filtermaterial ein Flächengewicht von mindestens 15 g/m² und höchstens 60 g/m² aufweist, wobei die Dicke einer Lage des Filtermaterials, gemessen nach ISO 534:2011, mindestens 25 µm und höchstens 400 µm beträgt, und wobei das Filtermaterial eine Kriechneigung in Dickenrichtung von höchstens 10% aufweist, wobei die Kriechneigung die relative Abnahme der Dicke von 5 Lagen des Filtermaterials, gemessen nach ISO 534:2011, innerhalb von 20 s nach Beginn der Dickenmessung ist.
