    摘要: The present invention relates to sheets or webs of a resin-impregnated fibrous material, comprising an impregnating resin, which comprises a combination of a) at least one resin component A, which is selected from the group consisting of aminoplast resins and phenoplast resins and mixtures thereof; and b) at least one resin component B, which is an oligomer or polymer having ethylenically unsaturated double bonds, wherein at least 40 mol-%, in particular at least 60 mol-%, especially at least 80 mol-% or 100 mol-% of the ethylenically unsaturated double bonds are selected from the group consisting of allyl groups, acryl groups and methacryl groups. The invention also relates to a process for producing a resin-impregnated fibrous material as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, which comprises impregnating a fibrous material in the form sheet or a web with a liquid resin composition comprising a combination of a) the resin component A, preferably in the form of a pre-condensate; and b) the resin component B as defined herein.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for producing paper, mat, laminate or similar material web (16) using a binder feeding mechansim (12) and by subsequent hardening, in particular of a material web (16) having high plybond strength which is then varnished. In this method, a water-dilutable acrylate in the form of a binder is fed to the material web at the binder feeding mechansim (12). The material web is then hardened by an electron beam, after the water content has been evaporated off. In accordance with the invention, after feeding the binder, or after the impregnation process, the material web (16) containing the noncrosslinked acrylate is dried and the water is evaporated from the binder, preferably an emulsion. The material web (16) is then printed and crosslinkage or polymerization begun. After printing, a varnish is applied that is capable of being hardened by an electron-beam. The material or paper web can be pressure-impregnated with the acrylate. The binder present in noncrosslinked residual paper, or the excess binder from the impregnating procedure, in particular acrylate emulsion, is preferably returned (18, 20, 28, 32) to the binder feeding mechansim (12).

    摘要: The invention relates to an aqueous dispersion containing a cellulose-reactive sizing agent and a dispersant system comprising a low molecular weight cationic organic compound having a molecular weight less than 10,000 and an anionic stabilizer, its preparation and use in the production of paper. The invention further relates to a substantially water-free composition containing a cellulose-reactive sizing agent, a low molecular weight cationic organic compound having a molecular weight less than 10,000 and an anionic stabilizer, its preparation and use in the preparation of an aqueous dispersion of cellulose-reactive sizing agent. Suitable anionic stabilizers for use in this invention include anionic compounds functioning as stabilizers and/or being effective in combination with the cationic compounds to stabilize the sizing agent in an aqueous phase as well as anionic compounds known as useful as dispersants in the preparation of size dispersions. Preferably the anionic compound is water-soluble or water-dispersable. The anionic stabilizer can be selected from organic or inorganic compounds and it can be derived from natural or synthetic sources.
