Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a sheet metal profile (9a,b, 19a,b, 22a,b, 23a,b, 24a,b, 25) primarily intended for installation against parts of a building, for example for the protection of bargeboards (2) or other wooden component parts of the building, comprising a bent metal sheet having a central section and at least one lateral part (3a,b) with inward- folded edge sections (15a,b) at the bottom. The invention is achieved by the sheet metal profile (9a,b, 19a,b, 22a,b, 23a,b, 24a,b, 25) being of mirror symmetrical configuration at both end sections (11a,b, 17, 21a,b), and by the end sections (11a,b, 17, 21a,b) being provided with an inward- facing edge (13a,b, 21a,b) cut at an angle, that is to say one or both lateral parts (10a,b, 20a,b) of the sheet metal profile (9a,b, 19a,b, 22a,b, 23a,b, 24a,b, 25) are executed with angled end edges (13a,b, 21a,b), where the angle (v) between the upper plane surface (12) of the sheet metal profile (9) and the end edges (13a,b, 21a,b) of the lateral parts form an acute angle (v).
Abstract:
An end cap system for a glazing system, and a glazing beam system, comprise a glazing beam, upper and lower cappings locatable on the beam, the end cap system comprises an end cap (68) and a means for mounting the end cap (68) on an end of the glazing beam in the form of a bracket securable to the glazing beam end, wherein the bracket and end cap (68) are formed integrally, the bracket being separable from the end cap (68) for attachment to the glazing beam.
Abstract:
A connecting piece (60) is provided to be fitted where fascia boards are intended to meet, especially at corners of conservatory roofs. The connecting piece has a front face (68) and a rear face (72), edges (70) of the rear face being shaped to correspond to the outer profile of the fascia boards and means (76, 78) for retaining the connecting piece between adjacent ends of the fascia boards.
Abstract:
A casting mould comprises one or more open profile members (59, 61 ), the or each having a mounting edge mountable to masonry and a free edge. The free edge of the or each open profile member (59, 61 ) has means for receiving stabilising means (254).
Abstract:
A gutter enhancing device having a flexible member (10) for being applied to and covering the exterior configuration of an existing gutter trough (34). The device also has a flexible screen portion (12) for covering the top portion of opening of the gutter trough. A gutter (310) having a slot (312) for a decorative insert (314). A gutter without a slot for a decorative insert onto which a decorative strip (414) can be attached with an adhesive, or by another method, such as, for example, ultrasonic welding. A gutter endcap (1000) that can cover a gutter end and provide aesthetic continuity with gutter façade. A process for manufacture of gutters with decorative inserts by extruding a gutter with a slot for recieving and holding a decorative member; and injection moulding, blow forming, or thermoforming a decorative member configured and invented to slide into the slot. Further, a process for roll-forming of gutters, or other devices, such as, for example, an indoor moulding, from rolled metal sheets.
Abstract:
An anchoring system for anchoring verge tiles and/or ridge tiles consists of a rail (4) to be fixed to a roof verge or roof ridge, a number of essentially U-shaped clamping elements (3) which can be slidably accommodated in said rail and a projecting rib (2) provided on the underside of each verge tile (1) or ridge tile (14), which rib (2) can be clamped in one of the said clamping elements (3).
Abstract:
A clip, which can be used to secure the end of a roofing batten, comprises a clamping plate for covering the roofing batten end, at least two legs projecting from opposing sides of the clamping plate, which are adapted to grip the sides of the batten end. The clamping plate of the clip also comprises a plurality of perforations distributed along its area, and each of the perforations has at least three edge protrusions suitable for clasping a fastening means, such as a nail, introduced through any of the perforations for fixing the clip together with other pieces to a batten.
